After supper they had time for fun and games until it became too dark to see the soccer ball. Games were followed by singing and storytelling. With all the activities over, everybody checked on their horses and then retreated to their bedrolls for some well deserved sleep. When Wolf had first arrived at school it surprised him at how strange a bed felt. Now it surprised at how used to the bed he had become and how hard the ground felt. Shadow had no problem sleeping on the ground and rather preferred it to sharing Wolf's bed. When the boy awoke in the morning he had his arm draped over the wolf, which remained asleep. The wolf awoke with a start obviously having a vivid dream. Wolf detected the faint odor of rabbit on the animal and now knew what he had been doing most of yesterday. The
