The judge was on his right sitting higher than anybody else in the room. On the other side of the judge sat the jury in two rows. In the audience only a handful of seats were occupied which surprised Wolf. The bailiff stood in front of him and told him to swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing, but the truth. The bailiff ordered him to sit down. The judge asked him to state his name and he said 'Wolf.' The judge looked at him a second before the lawyer for Mace objected. "Noted," the judge said.
