CHAPTER 9 ARESAfter Aurora shifted into her wolf without a problem, we ran down the jagged Syncome Mountains and through the eerily quiet hound lands. Being able to run freely through miles of land and not worrying about monsters attacking us was both f*****g blissful and terrifying. For the first time in years, the foggy sky had cleared, and the sun shimmered through the trees. Leaves had fallen off branches and decorated our path, crunching under our paws.
