CHAPTER 7
AURORA“Do you think Medusa can do it?” I asked Ares after all the other alphas filed out of the meeting room.
Ruffles sat in the chair beside him, furiously l*****g her back after one of the alphas petted her the wrong way.
I nervously stared out the large glass window and rubbed my hands together. “I don’t know the extent of her power.”
And … Pax was right.
We didn’t know what was down in the underworld. Medusa had told us that horrid things happened to those people in stone and that some of them didn’t come back. How would Ares and I go down to the underworld to fight when we had a baby we needed to raise? Our little girl would be in so much danger—and even more so if Hella found out about our pup. Hella might try to kill her.
I shook my head to get rid of the thought.
