It had been a month since my mishap in the woods. An investigation was started afterward for the creature that attacked the nine campers and left a little girl an orphan. They were scared to send the little girl back to human territory because of how much she saw, but they did it anyway. All of us vampires were questioned; thankfully, they didn't have enough evidence to hold or end any of us. I was in the bedroom, sitting in the chair and reflecting on everything.
