"Cordell POV"
When I walked into Summer's house all I could think about was finding her. But she was nowhere in sight. Heath said she was still upstairs waiting to make her usual grand entrance. Some things never change. He and I both laugh.
To be honest I was nervous and excited at the same time. I didn't know what I was going to say to her. All I knew was I wanted her back. So I decided to get a drink to calm my nerves. When I asked the bartender for a crown and coke, that intoxicating scent that I smelt at the mall hits me. It's gardenia and lilac. I had already decided to reject whoever it is. I only want Summer.
I started sniffing and it was leading me toward the staircase. I saw Rachael standing at the bottom of the stairs looking up. Heath and Chase left, walking toward the bar.
Then I saw her walking down the stairs looking beautiful as ever, wearing a silver sheer one-armed cocktail dress.
She was holding her adoptive sister. She looked so much like Summer but has blue eyes. I saw Summer sniffing, but she kept her eyes on that beautiful girl in her arms.
Tasmanian kept repeating that the little girl is his pup. I had to block him out.
Mate, I said when I was standing in front of her. I was smiling until she said mate as a question. Summer said no, no, you already have a Mate.
I knew then that she had heard those damn lies that Jillian had been spreading. I was pissed about it. I will deal with Jillian later. Right now talking to Summer is more important. I wanted to talk to her but was interrupted when Luna introduced her.
But what got my attention is when she said Summer's daughter. That was followed by Aiko McMillan. I asked Summer, daughter. Summer said daughter and walked to the stage
I stood there looking at my beautiful mate and our daughter. My eyes teared up a little, I couldn't believe how perfect our daughter is.
Aiko knew how to catch the attention of a crowd. She was clapping her hands and smiling. She said mommy, my mommy when Summer asks did she want to say something.
Everyone was awing, laughing and saying how cute she is. I smiled like a proud father.
I don't blame Summer for not telling me about Aiko. I hate I missed her birth, first step, and all her other first things.
My heart started beating fast when I first held her, she called me daddy. She's my princess and Summer is my queen. I will never let anyone hurt them.
When I found out the text wasn't from Summer I was pissed. I mind-linked my Beta Ryan to let him know what's going on and to find out who wanted Summer and me apart. The first person he said was Jillian.
I'm sure she was involved but we needed proof. I want all involved to be punished.
I knew I had no right to ask her if she made love with anyone. I had to know it was my ego. I'm no angel.
Even if she refused to answer me or if she had been with someone. I still wanted her to be my mate, one day my wife.
I asked her to let me mark her, she said if I let her mark me first.
Hell yeah, she can mark me anywhere she wanted to. I jumped on the bed waiting for her. She got me hooked around her finger.
She straddled me, I was looking at her taking in every inch of her beauty. She is so beautiful and innocent.
Summer laid on me, I wanted to make love to her so bad. I know she's not ready, I will wait on her regardless of how long it takes. I felt her arousal as she kisses my neck. Then she extracted her canines before biting my neck.
She laid on top like she did when we were younger. I turned her on her back my body laying between her legs, she wrapped them around me.
I wanted to feel her naked body on me. I knew it was too soon to ask that, so I just looked into her eyes. She nodded her head I pulled my shirt over her head not taking my eyes off her breast. They are perfect, just the right size. They fit perfectly in my hands. I suck on her right n****e flicking the left n****e.
She moans and grips my hair. I slowly kiss my way to her neck. I love you, I whispered in her ear before extracting my canines in her neck. I flip her back on top of me holding her tight. I'm never letting her go again.
When she said I love you, I and my wolf finally felt at peace and complete. I fell asleep smiling.
"Chase POV"
Summer was looking so beautiful. I already made plans to see her after dinner. I needed to taste her. I know I tasted her earlier this morning, but I wanted more.
When Rachael said her mate was there. I was so f*****g piss. Three more months and she was going to be mine.
Heath and I were at the bar when a sweet scent hit me. It was rain and honeysuckles. I was thinking about rejecting her. I thought about Summer and my agreement.
Amy and I accepted each other as mates. Rachael heard us. She ran to tell Luna. The Luna went straight into the library. She probably told Summer about me finding my mate.
I Saw Summer and Cord come out. I looked into Summer's eyes. She looked at Amy then back to me. I had to touch her one more time. A tear fell on her cheek when I kissed her. It was hard for me to not take her, Aiko, and get the hell out of there.
Why did it have to be Cordell? I hate we made that agreement. I should have claimed her on her birthday. Damn it, I don't want Amy.
I'm in love with Summer, I still want Summer, I will always want her.
