Chapter 7

"Jillian and her mother"

"Who the hell does Cordell think he is? He can't take her back. I don't care if she is his f*****g mate. Chase and she are lovers. Everybody knows that. On top of that, they have a pup together. I broke them up once I can do it again." Jillian said as she's throwing things across the room.

"Jillian, he's the next Alpha King. Summer is Alpha of the biggest and strongest pack in Georgia You couldn't even get him in bed. At least not while she's alive." Rita, her mother is picking up the broken glass.

"Mom, the King told me point blank if I did anything to them. That you, father, and I would regret it." She looks at her mother

"What can he do? You'll be Luna. Besides, he can't do anything, if we don't get caught, Can he?" Her mother smiles "I have no plans on getting caught." 

"What do I do now?" She folds her arms looking at her mother.

Rita laughs "Have some rogues attack her pack and kill her."

"Where would I find rogues, mother?"  Jillian lays across the bed. She is looking at her mother confused.

" My dear daughter. Let me take care of that. Don't forget I was a rogue before I was found by Carlos." Her mother smiles.

"Mother you are evil. Now I see where I get it from"  Jillian laughs

"Summer and Cordell's pack"

Summer walks into the den. "Mother, why did you let me sleep so late? Summer kisses Aiko who's in her mother's arm watching Vampirina on the Disney channel.

"This was the first time in a while you slept in awhile. I wanted you to rest. I see your mark." Her mother looks at her neck

"Yeah, we marked each. He caught up on his sleep."  Summer sits down beside her mother.

"Good afternoon princess, mom." Cord  picks Aiko up from Julia's lap

Julia is looking at him "Good afternoon Cordell, do you two want something to eat?"

"No mom, we will pick something up while we are out. We're going to get some of Cord's things. Then to Bed Bath and Beyond to get some towels." He is kissing Aiko's face all over. She is giggling.

"Where's Lily?"  Summer is looking around the den

She's in the gym." Her mother is looking at Cord and Aiko smiling.

"Nick increase border patrol. I have a strange feeling. Heath make sure mother and Lily are safe. We shouldn't be too long. Do you all want us to bring anything back?" Summer is looking around the room

"Chicken from Popeye's," Rachael smiles

Cappuccino from Starbucks."  Lily walks into the room looking at Cord. 

Summer turns to look at her "I thought you were in the gym?"

Lily laughs "I was there but I heard you. I wanted to officially meet your mate. I have heard so much about him. Last night everything was crazy. Lily is looking at Cord

"Cordell this is my sister Lily. Lily that's Alpha King Cordell." Summer looks at the two at them

Lily bows her head to show respect.  "Alpha" 

"Lily just call me Cordell or Cord. We're family" He hugs her.

"Don't forget the chicken,"  Rachael said as she is walking over to the window.

'Rachael you're going to turn into a chicken, start clucking one day." Summer said looking at Rachael

"Just make sure you lay some eggs." Lily  laughs

"Oh, you two are so funny. You two got jokes this morning."  Rachael laughs pointing at Summer and Lily.

Cord has his arm around Summer and holding Aiko in the other arm.

"How does it feel to have Summer as your true  mate and a daughter?"  Heath is looking at Cord

"It feels great. If I'm dreaming, don't anyone ever wake me up." Cord smiles

Nick laughs "Your not dreaming man, love and take care of your family." 

"Definitely will do that I will always." Cord said smiling,  kissing  Aiko's and Summer's  head
