"How did it go?" Liam inquired the moment he spotted me walking through the gate. "How was your conversation with her? Did you tell her everything?" he asked, and I shook my head.
"Are you stalking me now, Liam?" I questioned, and he denied it with a shake of his head before moving closer.
"You reek of her scent; her pheromones are all over you. I don't need to sneak or stalk to know who you've been with. So, how did it go?" he pressed.
"I didn't tell her," I replied as I headed toward the door.
"Why not? This was your chance to come clean, so why didn't you just tell her? You promised to tell her everything when you returned, and you have the answers you need. Why didn't you just tell her the truth and free yourself from this misery?" he prodded, and I scoffed.
