By the time I woke up, it was past noon, and I no longer felt like a truck ran over me. I stretched my muscles as I yawned loudly, Damon wasn’t in the room as usual, maybe he had something to do or perhaps Cj had woken up.

I almost jumped out of bed but stopped when I heard a muffled sound, it was coming from the other side of my room and when I turned to look at it, I was surprised to see Damon on the balcony with a phone in his ear…. he was on a call.
