It was fun watching Randolph getting railroaded by questions from his mother about the dates he had planned for me while at my home and what he planned for me in the future. These dates really were a big deal to them it seemed and not done that often. So having a human for a mate must have been a really rare occurrence. Ulric then was able to get between his mate and son, saying that he needed Randolph for some important business. I frowned for a moment as I wasn't sure what to do in this strange place. He must have seen me frowning because Randolph came over and gave me a quick kiss. "Edward can show you to your room before showing you around the place. I'll then come to find you when I'm done with whatever my dad needs me for."
