My eyes weren't even open yet but I couldn't help but smile at the scent that filled my nose. Opening my eyes slowly I saw the top of Katherine's head as it rested on my chest. I pet her hair slowly and gently, not wishing to wake her just yet. However, she stirred and woke up to look up at me and smiled a smile that made my heart flutter. Even her "just woke up" look was cute, and I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have her with me.
