Thief's P.O.V
As the vice principal gave the order for the teacher to check my feet, I panicked and thought that if the teacher checked my socks, I would be done for. Oh God! what's wrong with the vice principal, this old Hag has gone mad? Why does she want to spoil my plan? What have I done to her? Because of her stubbornness, all my plans and efforts will be ruined. I have to do something to stop the teacher from checking my socks. Everyone will eat me alive, if they come to know that it was me who stole their lunch boxes and money. I can make an excuse of having an injury so that the teacher takes pity on me and stops checking me.

The girl made a lame excuse that she had injured her feet and if she were to take off her socks, the pain would increase.
