After realizing my mistake I felt ashamed of myself. I could not believe that I had done an injustice to a child and because of me that child endured and suffered a lot of torture. I felt so guilty that I could not look in Nirmala's eyes. I don't know how to face Nirmala after mistreating Tanvi. I could not believe that being a vice-principal and having so many years experience, that I did this to a student without hearing her explanation and without investigating the matter I punished Tanvi. Guilt was killing me from inside.
"I promise that no matter what I will investigate the matter properly and find out the culprit with the help of Madam Shalini and Madam Nilu." I said and Nirmala nodded her head in understanding.
