“And this is where he has been staying,” Shaw said as he handed Emilia a photograph. It was a Monday morning and she and Shaw were going through the investigation report about what she had asked him to do for her. At the moment they were discussing her ex-boyfriend, David. “He has been in town for the past six months.”
“Six months?” Emilia asked as she pushed the pictures away from her. “Why is he reaching out to me now? How did he get my number?”
Shaw reached into the envelope once again and produced another photo, “we believe it came from this woman here. She is an intern with the company.”
