Josh continued to chase after her and when she was outside, she was looking behind her to see if he had followed. When she saw him, she started to move again but he was too fast for her. He reached out and grabbed her hand, forcing her to cry out.
"Please Josh, we can't..." she started to sob. "We can't. This will ruin everything..." she said in between her tears. He pulled her around so he could cup her face and look at her.
"What in the world are you talking about?" he was concerned. He had never seen her act like this. It was like she was scared of him, but he knew better, she would never be physically scared of him, so what was she scared of?
"This is going to ruin our friendship. You are too precious to me to ruin that...please...let me go."
