Alana’s POV
I thought their bond was stronger than this. I hoped that it was. I felt bad for him as he turned his horse around and started to leave the place where the woman he thought was his true love was. If he was someone I cared about, I would have the urge to give him a hug, but Ronan was the last person I would ever care about.
“I can’t believe I used this day for something like this,” Sybil, the old witch hissed. “If I had known that this would happen, then I would have used the power of the five planets to do something more important.”
“I am sorry about that,” Ronan apologized, and I scoffed silently. “Don’t worry. You won’t need to do this again because once I come back here a week later and I hear whatever she wants to tell me, then I will be done with her.”
