“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Alpha Blake shouts at his mate, Luna Valerie. Luna Valerie had just stomped into his office and ordered everyone but him to leave. What was most surprising was not the fact that everyone listened but the aura of anger emanating from her. Luna Valerie stands before Alpha Blake and if looks could kill he would be dead and 100 feet under the ground, never to be found again. “I have had enough of you! We are done.” Luna Valerie growls, anger filling every fibre of her body. “What are you talking about?” Alpha Blake asks, anger filling him at the disrespect his mate it showing him. “While you are having a fun time with another woman last night, my son died! I mind linked you, begging you to come and help me but you refused. More focused on getting kitty, right? Hope it was worth it you scumbag.” Luna Valerie rants. Alpha Blake stands there in shock. All along Valerie knew that her mate was being unfaithful, the betrayal pains where enough for her to know the truth but she wanted her son to grow up in a loving environment with both of his parents. “Tae is dead?” He asks, colour draining from his face. “Yes.” “How?” “Why would I tell you? You left us! We begged you to come and help us but you blocked us out. How could you?!” Luna Valerie shouts, walking up and punching Alpha Blake’s chest. Alpha Blake is lost in his thoughts; how could he lose his son? What will happen now? There will be an investigation, after all the pack has just lost its heir and what will happen to him when it is discovered that he ignored his mate and pup? What have I done? Alpha Blakes thinks to himself, grief filling his body at the thought of his loss. “I, Luna Valerie Ruth, hereby reject you as my mate. I hope you get mated to the one who cost you your mate and pup.” Valerie spits, pulling Alpha Blake from his thoughts. “What?!” Alpha Blak asks in shock. “What do you mean ‘what’? I have just rejected you!” Valerie shouts. “Why?” “Why? Because of you I have lost my son. You seriously think I am going to stay with you when you chose another woman over us? You really are stupid.” Luna Valerie Before Alpha Blake can respond, they are interrupted. There is a knock on the door before it bangs open and in runs an out of breath Beta. “Alpha! Luna! What the hell is happening?” Beta Pete asks. “What do you mean?” Alpha Blake asks. “My bond with Anna… its gone.” Beta Pete cries, falling to his knees in despair. “You have Alpha Blake to thank for that.” Valerie says. “What do you mean?” Beta Pete asks, his head whipping up. It is then that he notices a cold look in his Lunas eyes and a guilty look in his alphas. “You see, my mate and yours have been doing the nasty behind our backs and cost me my son.” Valerie tells Beta Pete with no emotion in her eyes or voice. “WHAT?! YOU PIECE OF s**t!” Beta Pete shouts, jumping up and throwing a strong right hook at Alpha Blake. Alpha Blake does not move in time and gets punched in the face. He goes flying and lands against the wall before sliding down. "But that shouldn't have caused the mate bond to break between you two." Alpha Blake says, standing up and rubbing his jaw while looking at Beta Pete. "Maybe the Moon goddess saw fit to grant my rejection wish. Afterall, neither of you two deserve us and happiness. You both deserve hell for what you have done. I lost my son because you wanted to bed that woman, a woman who was mated to your best friend!" Valerie shouts. Before Alpha Blake can respond Beta Pete speaks up. “I, Beta Pete Ellen reject you as my alpha and relinquish my ties to this pack.” Beta Pete says, grunting as the bonds holding him there broke. The pain filled him, but he refused to fall, instead he stood tall and would continue to stand beside Valerie. She needs support now. “You deserve that. You deserve everything that and everything that is coming your way. You really are a scumbag.” Valerie spits at Alpha Blake. “How dare you talk to me in such a manner?” Alpha Blake growls. “Because you cost me my son!” Valerie shouts back, making Alpha Blake wince. “You were shagging your w***e while your son laid dying! You killed my son!” Valerie shouts, finally having enough of her mates transgressions. “OUR SON!” Alpha Blake shouts. “You lost the right to him when you deserted him! I hope the guilt eats you up. I hope you never see happiness again, you don’t deserve it. You or that b***h of yours.” Valerie shouts, slapping Alpha Blake hard before turning on her heel and walking out of the office and the pack. “You really are disgusting. You are welcome to Anna, the both of you are perfect for each other.” Pete spits, following Valerie and leaving Alpha Blake to wallow in him own self-hatred and pity. Little did Alpha Blake know that his son and heir was alive and well.
