When I saw Kabir this morning, I was very happy, because I thought that my father must have come to take me with Kabir. I even ran out of the room to find him but happiness vanished when I didn't find anyone in the room. I wish I could express my pain in words, if Kabir was not there, I would have been shattered.
If Dad had come to pick me up, I might have given him a chance and tried to forget everything he had done to me but his absence gives me a clear picture that I have zero value in Dad's life now.
I stopped the car in front of Max's house, when I get out of the car I found Max, his daughter, and Laura having breakfast on the lawn.
