Charlene was busy arranging her stuff for next week when she heard a knock on her open door. Taking a glimpse, she then saw who it was. Max, grinning widely at her. “Hey!” she muttered before looking back at her notes. One more hour and it would be home time. It was already Friday and the days went by quickly. She and Max were on the hop again with their job that even their lunchtime was allocated for meetings and whatnots. They hadn’t spoken about their plans this weekend and what time they would be leaving. “Busy, are we?” Max said as he sat down on Charlene’s chair. Max just finished his meeting a bit earlier and went outside to check on Charlene. He had no time to discuss their getaway plans these past few days since they were totally absorbed in their work.
