Hours had passed, and Charlene busied herself painting the unfinished artwork. She was planning to restore some of its parts, but she didn’t. She was preserving the central masterpiece of the painter. Once she was done, the art was somehow shown two hues of time, half of it because of its timeworn colors, and half were the modern ones.
Upon finishing it, she signed the bottom of the portrait.
