Ken was hurt and confused as he stormed to his mother room. Right now he didn't know what to do. It is better if he didn't go near his wing, he knows in the back of his mind that if he goes to his wing now he will either hurt Fallon or Annabelle and not that he will shout at Annabelle. No, he will just do something that will ensure that she is his forever, something that will make her hate him. Something that will scar her for a long time. As he entered his parents wing, he immediately went to his mother quarters, where he knew that she usually spend her afternoons.

" mother. " he yells as soon as he enters without knocking.

" Kendall, you need to learn how to knock. " his mother said as she got her frightened heart under control. " what if I had been naked. "

" then you would not have been here or you would have been here with father and I just left him. " Ken said as he looked around after helping his mother stand from where she fell. He froze when he saw that it was Annabelle and Jasmine that was in the room with his mother. "Belle. " he breathed her name.

Annabelle knew at once that something had happened to Ken, she could see the plain distress on his face. " what is wrong. " she started to move towards him but he rocked on his feet as he held out a hand for her to stop her from moving closer.

" don't. " Ken gritted out as he stopped his first reaction to her. To seek comfort with her. " I need to talk to the queen, can you please excuse us. " Ken said in a formal tome as he managed to pull his emotions in and slam an indifferent mask on his face.

" what bothering you. " Annabelle asks as she tried to ignore her heart and body reaction to disobey his warning and go to his arms and fuss over him.

" I want to be alone with the queen. " Ken yells as Annabelle jumped.

Annabelle opened her mouth to talk but Jasmine beat her to it. " let's leave lady Anna. " Jasmine grab her hand and dragged her out of the room.

" son, why will you shout at your beloved in that manner. " the queen admonished.

" mother, help me. " Ken said as he rest his head on his mother laps.

" Kendall, you are acting strange. What is going on. " the queen asked softly as she ran her hands through his hair.

" the council said that the only way I get to keep Annabelle is by marrying Fallon. I don't want to marry Fallon mother. You know that I don't. I was supposed to present Annabelle then I would get married to her. That was what they said now they want me to marry Fallon. " Ken explains as his eyes went red. " I cannot marry Fallon, mother. You know that. "

" I do son. I will talk to your father . " the queen said as she gritted her teeth.

Oh her husband will get the blunt force of her anger. How can he put their son through what he went through, how can he do that and not even consult her on the issue. He does he think he is to make a decision that will make her child unhappy for the rest of his life. She has already seen it, Kendall will never be happy with whoever he marries if the person is not Annabelle. Annabelle has his heart in her palms and he got hers in return. Their kind of love is rare and it is just like the one she has for her husband. She had to solve this.

" thank you mother. " Ken said as he instantly brightens and envelopes his mother in bone crushing hug.

" let go of me you big pile of muscles. " his mother squeaked out as she elbows his ribs.

" mother. " he wheezes out.

" that is what you get for almost hurting your mother. " the queen told him then remembered how he treated the woman he loved and the hurt look that Annabelle sprouted when he shows away from her when she tried to help.

She hits him across the back of his head. " ouch. Mother. " Ken complains. " what did I do to deserve that one now. "

" you were rude to Annabelle when she wanted to comfort you. You hurt her. Go apologize. " the queen ordered.

" you are right. Hell, why did I do that. " Ken said as he quickly kissed his mother on her cheeks and rushed out of the room.

The queen chuckled are the quick way in which he fled from the room then stopped when she heard raised voices outside. She went there to see Ken arguing with some guards.

" what is going on here. " she orders.

The guard who looked like he was the one in command bowed to her. " We are sent as a special escort for the prince. "

" well. I don't need the escort so leave me alone. " the prince shooes them away but they didn't budge one beat.

" who do you answer to. " the queen orders.

" the king" the guard said again then when the look on the queen face darkens, he added "and him alone. "

" so that I will not try to run away and to keep me away from Annabelle. " Ken deducted as a bleak look entered his eyes.

" don't worry. I don't think that they are suppose to restricted your movement. I can do nothing about them following you but if they restrict your movement, I can have them striped from their position and whipped for disrupting the prince life. Are we clear? " the queen asks nonchalantly as the guards gulps and nodded. " and I will deal with your father. " the queen told her son who smiled at her and gave her a loose hug then left. she laughs when she realised what he did. The boy valued his ribs.

The king called Fallon to his study after Ken had left and when Fallon came he just told her that if she wants Ken, that she will have to work hard to get him because although the council ruled in her favour that it could change at any time so she better be smart about getting Ken on her side then he dismissed her, not allowing her to get a word in edgewise as his main thoughts was avoiding his family for through out that day.

If he had paid attention he would have seen the sick smile that Fallon had on her face and he would have noticed that he just gave her the power to do whatever she wanted with Ken...

At least that was the way Fallon saw it and she will exploit her conversation with the king by using every means possible.
