Act like a Fool, Shines like a Star!

Chapter 26: Final Exams.

"Oh wow... It's hard to think that it's been 3 month since we first move here..."

Lavi muttered to Riri. Both of them are preparing to go to a journey in order to graduate.

"Yeah. I really enjoy the time I spend in the Academy. It's only 3 month because we moved at the end of the semester. But I feel like we've been there for years."

"Exactly..."

Lavi and Riri is the only two who didn't know where they are going for their journey. They did hear that they're going to go a journey. But they didn't know where.

And then, Everyone in the 3rd grade stand on the front gate of the Shireno City. Since it's early, There's sunlight still. So they were going to go out in the sun.

Hailey stand in the very front of the pack and said.

"Students! It's been a fun 3 years. This is the last exams for you guys. Go to the Taiga and survive there for a week. If you managed to survive for a week, Come back to the Academy and you're done! The mission there is just to stay alive for a week. Well then. Good luck. Use everything that you learn."

Hailey said. It seems like this is a yearly tradition. Fortunately for all of them, There's nothing dangerous happened to those before them. And they didn't want to be the first one to get hurt.

Anyway, With the Class President leading in the front. Lavi and Riri is at the very back. Further than anyone else.

There's 2 reason for that. First, They want to keep everyone safe from any attack. And with the both of them in the very back, They can see any attack coming. Since Lavi can see in the dark and his Aura read is really far. So if anything hostile coming, Lavi will just inform everyone and let them do that themselves.

And the second reason. They just want to split up from the rest of the group. Hailey want them to venture off alone by themselves. And Nick also told Lavi if he see something dangerous. To immediately subjugate it and report it to him immediately.

So that's why they are in the very back. They will split up from the rest of the class and hopefully. Nothing happened to them.

After they arrived at the Taiga. The whole class stayed together. Lavi and Riri immediately go further in the Taiga. Everyone let them go because they don't have the power to stop them.

But they did see that Lavi and Riri is preparing their sword. So the Class immediately prepare their weapon as well. If somehow things attack them. They didn't have the problem of finding their weapon.

They set up a fire and campsite.

"Is it okay for us to left them by themselves?"

Riri asked. She was genuinely worried about the whole class. Lavi replied.

"I think it's okay. I mean, they've learned the advanced survival stuff in the Academy for 3 years straight. There's no way that they will fail. We need to worry about ourselves too. We need to find our own spot to stay."

Lavi explained. Riri nodded. They decided to stay 1 KM away from everyone. It give them a really far distance that they won't notices Lavi and Riri there. But Lavi and Riri still can see them.

"I don't want any of them dying. It will make the Shireno Reputation go bad. So, I will try to keep my eyes on them as much as I could."

Lavi said. Riri nodded. Both of them are trying so hard to keep the reputation of Shireno as clean as possible. They don't want anything bad happening to the Class. Especially since Lavi is there.

If they were attacked and Lavi didn't help them. It will make people upset toward him and he will need to do something about it. And it's not going to be pretty.

"Come to think of it. What are they going to do about food or water?"

"They can melt snow for water source. But I don't really know about food though. They can go around hunting for deer and stuff. But there's monster to compete with. If things come to worse, I will give them some of our supplies."

"I see... That's fine. Anyway, I'm bored. Should we go hunt some animal?"

Lavi nodded. They stand up from their log and Lavi asked.

"What do you want to eat tonight?"

"Pulled Deer."

"Will do!"

Lavi immediately use his Aura read. Suddenly, Around 100 Red Aura approach them and the Classmate. Lavi shuddered. Riri saw that and asked.

"Should we go back to the class first? There's so much hostility around us and them. I can't really see them. So I think it's the Snow Leopard."

"Okay. Let's go to them then."

Snow Leopard is a really elusive monster. Because their fur is white, They really merged together in the Snow. But sometime, You can see the glint of their eyes.

'I never thought that there's going to be this much Snow Leopard... Is it snow leopard? I need to check it more.'

Lavi wasn't sure if they're actually snow leopard or not. So he decided to investigate more. And it turns out.

"Riri! Let's go quickly! It's Glacial Elites!"

"Huh?!"

Riri is really familiar with the elites by now. Because she read so much Monster Encyclopedia. And she now there's so much Elites type in the world.

"Lavi! Does this mean!"

"Yeah. There's a Dungeon Somewhere hidden in the Snow."

Lavi said. Both of them need 30 Seconds to arrived at the camp. Everyone look at them with panicked.

"Y-Your Highness?! What happened?"

"All of you. Prepare for battle. Our opponent is 100 Glacial Elites."

Lavi said. Everyone shuddered hearing the name of it. They immediately prepare their weapon and Lavi stated.

"You guys are going to attack them from the back okay? I will take their attention."

"Yes!"

Riri commanded everyone to circle around. Lavi use his Bloodlust and attract the Glacial Elites toward him. The class with Riri in command. Circle around the whole group of Elites.

The reason why Lavi told everyone to attack them from behind is so that Lavi didn't have anyone staring at him. After all, His way of fighting is too gruesome for all of them to see.

"Well then Glacial Elites. I heard from Pixel that the Burning Elites died from one hit. I hope you guys put a little more fight this time."

Lavi said. The Glacial Elites charged toward Lavi. With their Ice Sword as their limbs. They swing it toward Lavi. Lavi sighed.

'Aura Read. Absolute Sharpness. Wind of Freedom. Airwalk.'

Lavi jumped to the air. He saw the group is going toward the elites by following their footsteps.

Lavi draw his sword. He grinned and muttered.

"Falcon Talon."

Lavi swing his sword up. And suddenly, A Blue aura appear and sliced the Elites to half. Another one come in and Lavi still not done.

'It's been a long time since I actually use any of my Sword Skills.'

Lavi thought. He have a lot of skills that he have refined but didn't get the chance to use because it's not good enough for the Demon Lord. But he keep refining it. And now, It's really strong.

Everyone who saw that bright blue aura was shocked. After all, They saw Lavi is the one shooting that aura.

Riri immediately jumped forward and use her own Sword Skills.

'Glimmering Slice.'

Suddenly. Riri arrived beside Lavi.

"Oh. You're done?"

Lavi said. Riri nodded. Suddenly, The rest of the Elites fall down and vanished.

"So that's your skill huh... It's definitely fast and destructive. Good job."

"Thank you."

Glimmering Slice. Riri original skill. Taking inspiration from Nazuna Quick Draw and Lavi fast movement. It enables Riri to quickly draw her sword, Decapitate them and arrived at the spot she wanted in almost an instant.

"So that's the power of our Prince and his Fiancee..."

The whole class was amazed by their power. To be able to finish such a strong monster in almost an instant. Their respect grew toward them and then the two of them vanished. Leaving the Whole Class alone by themselves again.

Lavi and Riri arrived at their campsite and they're still hungry.

"Anyway! Let's go search for deer shall we?"

Lavi suggested. Riri nodded. Lavi immediately use his Aura read and find a Blue Aura. Lavi and Riri go there and they find a lot of deer.

Lavi and Riri just want food for themselves so, They kill one of them.

They find the male and they sliced its head off in an instant. The rest of the deer run away from them. Lavi take out a knife.

"Look Riri. I will show you how to quickly dismantle stuff."

Lavi said. Riri is looking closely. Lavi use his Absolute sharpness to the knife and he just cut the Deer up. And in a small amount of time. Lavi cut everything to the perfect pieces. The hide, the bone, the meat, the silver skins. the organs.

Everything is done. Lavi put it inside his Storage magic. Riri is holding Lavi knife and she was gesturing on how fast Lavi cut things up.

They arrived at their campsite once again and Lavi cook the deer up. And after a really slow long cook. It's done. Lavi and Riri eat it and they cuddle up.

Riri is wearing a really thick coat. Lavi didn't need any of that because of Althea blessing.

"Hey Lavi..."

Riri call Lavi. Lavi look at her and asked her.

"What?"

"Are you not cold? It's snowing."

"No."

"Buu...."

Lavi immediately caught Riri intention. Lavi smiled and he immediately pull the coat off. He pull out some blanket and put it over themselves. Riri immediately smiled and snuggle closer to Lavi.

"Thank you... You caught my intention after all."

"Of course..."

Lavi said. Lavi brushed Riri hair. Riri started to get sleepy. Riri sleep and Lavi keep his guard on as he went to sleep too. And they were woken up by the sunlight hitting their face. Lavi wake up and realize that Riri moved to his lap. Lavi brush her hair again and he yawned.

He light the fire and he cook another pulled deer. Riri is still sleeping in the blanket. Lavi started to get sleepy again and his head just slumped forward and he sleep again.

After the Sunlight disappear. Lavi wake up. Riri is still sleeping.

"Riri... Wake up..."

Riri hear that and she immediately sit up. She scratch her eyes and look around. She look at the fire and grab some of the food. Riri immediately eat it.

"Sorry Lavi... Inside the Blanket is so nice. And your lap is soft too..."

"It's fine. Glad you like the sleep."

Lavi said. He stood up and grab his sword. Riri eat her meal and suddenly Lavi s***h the air. Suddenly, A bunch of bugs fall down to the fire.

Riri didn't even care about that since she also notices that but decided to let Lavi handle it. The bugs was burn into ashes in the fire.

After everything is done. Lavi and Riri continue their journey around. Since they do need to venture out into the wilderness and look for something.

They decided to look for the Dungeon where the Elites where coming. And it took them 2 hours to find the source. Lavi swing his sword and the snow dispersed.

"It 10 KM away from us. That's why I didn't feel them coming for a long time. And to think that there's some sort of big trapdoor hidden here."

Lavi make a comment on the placement of the Dungeon. It's in the Ground and there's a trapdoor that open out. Lavi s***h the lock and open the Dungeon door.

"Let's go inside Riri."

"Yes!"

Lavi grab his clock and time it. So that he know how long they've been exploring and they need to go back after 4 days here.

And as soon as Lavi and Riri go inside the dungeon. They were transported to a room. Lavi and Riri is the only one in the room. A pure white room.

And then. A lot of Elites comes. Lavi and Riri smiled.

"I guess this is it huh."

They said. They go wild in that room. Killing a bunch of Glacial Elites. And they didn't get tired either.

After just improving and improving with their technique. The last Glacial appear. And it was bigger than everything.

"Uh oh! It's big!"

Lavi said. It was giant. 10 Meter tall and 20 Meter wide. It immediately swing its arm to Lavi and Riri.

Riri sneak behind Lavi. Lavi immediately take his True Silver Annihilation. He wear his mask and go all out.

"Serene Mind. Limit Break. Absolute Sharpness. Laserstrikes!"

Suddenly. A massive amount of white orb appear. And it shoots out a tons of laser to the Giant Elites. And in true Lavi fashion. It annihilated that Giant. It vanished and leave a tons of holes in the wall.

Suddenly, Lavi and Riri was swallowed by the lights. They arrived at the initial spots they find the Trapdoor.

"Hm? It vanished?"

Riri was confused. Lavi nodded.

"Yup. It's the kind of Dungeon that vanished after the boss was killed. It's rare but, It's fun to do."

Lavi check his timer and it's been 4 days since they last entered that Dungeon.

"So... We've been going at the elites for 4 days straight?"

"I guess so. Anyway. Let's spend our last night here. After all, Tomorrow is going to be the day we go back."

Lavi said. Riri agreed. They go back to their Campsite. Everyone is still alive which is good. Lavi and Riri cuddle the night out and the next morning. They meet up with the others.

"Nice seeing you guys still alive."

Lavi said. Everyone bowed. Just like before. They go back. Lavi and Riri is on the very back. But this time. They just holding their hands and talking sweet stuff to each other.

As much as Riri want Lavi to talk smack at her. She didn't want everyone to know her fetish. So she decided to go with Lavi favorite stuff which is sweet talk.

After they arrived at the Academy. Hailey is waiting for them on the Front yard.

"Everyone! Good job on surviving 1 week in the Wilderness! With that, You guys graduated. Come tomorrow morning for the ceremony."

Hailey said. Everyone nodded and they go back home. Lavi, Riri and Hailey go to the castle to talk about what they find.

They go to the Conference room and see Nick is having a meeting with other people. Everyone saw Lavi, Riri and Hailey and immediately bowed.

Lavi, Riri and Hailey sat down beside Nick and they wait until the meeting to finish.

And at that time. Lavi is listening closely on how Nick reply to certain question and how to stay calm in time like this. He was learning straight from Nick. 

And everyone in that room notices that Lavi is glaring at Nick and sometime moving his eyes to everyone else. It give them a sign that Lavi is listening closely and making sure that everyone is listening.

And at that moment too. They realize that Lavi is a real deal. His glare is enough to make everyone stay quiet and focused. And when Nick ask a question and want answer. They deliver with great focus.

So just having Lavi in the room really improve the mood in the room. Everyone bowed after the meeting is done and then. Nick turn around.

"Alright. Lavi, Riri. What do you found?"

"First of all dad. Good job on your meeting. I really enjoy that. Secondly. How about hug? Your son and Daughter in law just graduate? Don't just skip over the fact! You're a parent!"

Lavi said. Nick was taken aback by Lavi demand. Hailey and Riri look at them and laughed. Nick chuckled awkwardly and hug Lavi.

"Great job Son. Sorry about that. I was too focused on the meeting. After all, You were GLARING at all of us."

Lavi laughed.

"I mean, That's how I use to do it in my meeting. I glare at everyone. If they're talking smack. I glare at them even harder. I need a really calm atmosphere to talk if it's serious."

Lavi explained. Riri laughed.

"Lavi's right. I actually seen Lavi speech that he give to the 10 Harbingers. It actually pretty amazing!"

Riri said. Lavi blushed and chuckle it off. And then. Nick and Hailey want to see that as well.

"Really? Can we see it?"

"W-Well. Ask Gwen about it later..."

Lavi said. They will do that. But first. The actual topic.

"Anyway Lavi. What did you guys find?"

Nick asked. Lavi clear his throat and explained to Nick what he found.

"So, I find this really rare dungeon. It's buried in the snow. It's a trapdoor that spawn a bunch of Glacial Elites."

Nick and Hailey turn serious.

"Really? Is it dangerous? Will they attack us?"

Nick asked. Lavi sighed.

"Well, It's a one time thing. Riri and I have killed the boss and the entire Dungeon have vanished. It's one of those Dungeon that vanished after the boss was killed."

"I see... That's good then. Anything after that?"

Lavi shake his shoulder.

"Fortunately no. We haven't find anything other than that. So it's pretty much safe. And I hope it will stay that way for the future."

Lavi said. Everyone nodded. After that talk. Nick said.

"Alright Lavi! Call Gwen, Bianca and Nazuna here! Let's have a good family time together."

"Okay."

Lavi immediately asked Gwen to bring Bianca and Nazuna and teleport to the Conference room. Everyone arrived and they sit down on the chair.

"Maid! Can You guys bring us some tea?"

Nick asked. The Maid immediately nodded and tea arrived. They pour it to everyone. Elli come in after hearing that they're going to have some family time.

And with that. Everyone is there.

"Okay! Gwen. I heard that Lavi have some really good speech. Can I see that?"

"Of course Father! See this glorious form of Lavi giving a speech full of hope to the 10 Harbingers."

Gwen give everyone a little bit of context so that everyone know why Lavi speech is so impactful to them.

The Recording was seen by everyone. Everyone blushed toward Lavi. Including Nick. He was amazed by how cool his son is. Bianca is going crazy after seeing that form once again. She was staring at Lavi.

Nazuna, Elli, Hailey was amazed by how powerful Lavi word affected the strongest humans in the world. He's the youngest. Yet, everyone listen to his word. It just give them an idea how much work Lavi actually put to himself.

Everyone smiled to Lavi and Lavi once again. Get a lot of respect from his family.
