Chapter 9: 2 More Books.

"Sniper. What's the Situation?"

A man with Purple hair asked. He have a purple robe and orange eyes. He have a mark on his left hand and he was wearing his mask.

"Berserk, There's a bunch of Cultist here. But I think I can snipe all of them."

A girl with a really Dark Green hair said. She Have a Really Dark Green coat and Blue eyes. She also have mark on her left hand.

They're Brendon Ebbers and Kiara Romanoff. They're tasked by Lavi to find the 2 last book that Bianca need to research.

Brendon is a Berserker. Hence the Alias Berserk. Kiara is a special case. She is a Sniper. And to confuse people that hear their codename, They call her Sniper. Despite using a sword.

Their special ability is quite strong as well. Brendon attack is going to be more and more strong as time goes on. So he's an endurance fighter that excel in the end game.

Kiara have the ability to make a Wind Bullet. It's invisible but can be seen with Serene Mind. It's fast and strong. So she usually stay on top of a tree sniping people with her wind bullet. But when everyone need extra support, She will come down and use her sword to fight.

They're in two different churches. And Bianca Said that the 2nd book is where Brendon is and the 3rd book is where Kiara is.

"Berserk. Are you ready?"

Lavi voice can be heard in Brendon head. Brendon smiled and said.

"Ace, I'm ready. Tell Sniper to go."

Brendon charged in forward. Through the front gate and into the Church.

"Sniper. Berserk is going. Good luck for you two!"

Lavi said. Kiara smiled and she pull her sword up. From the tip of her sword, She form a really tight win bullet.

"Got it Ace~"

Lavi cut the telepathy off. Now, Move to Brendon. He's a Berserker. He's sort of crazy. The reason is this.

There's 10 Cultist with crossbow and shield on the front. Brendon pull his big sword out of his back and swing it horizontally.

"Uoryaaa!!!!"

Brendon slashed all 10 People. Along with the Shields. Brendon laughed. He jumped and Slam His sword on the Church.

'Iron Strike!'

Brendon enhance his sword with Iron Strike and blast the Church off. People with robe started to come. They started to prepare their magic.

Brendon smiled. His Berserker effect activated. His Mark Glow bright. His eyes become really sharp. Just from the glare of it, The Cultist stop moving.

The Magic was shot toward Brendon. Brendon took it like a champ. No scratch or nothing. He just get hit by a boulder. And he feel nothing at all. He just smiled it off and swing his sword on the head of the cultist.

He was smacked into a paste. Brendon de-activate his Iron Strike and swing it around. And he cut all the building into half. But then, Someone arrived. He swing his halberd down and hit Brendon on the side.

Brendon put his sword to block it just in time. If not, He would receive a big blow.

"Who are you?"

Brendon asked. He put his giant Sword back on his back.

"I'm just a nobody. You shouldn't ask who I'm. Even I don't know who I'm."

"I see... So you're just a slave to the church huh."

Brendon replied. The Mysterious man nodded. Brendon grinned and he push a button on his sword.

Brendon Great Sword turn into a normal Long Sword. Despite it's a 2 handed sword. Brendon have the power to hold it in one hand.

"Good for you. I will save you from the evil."

Brendon said. His smile turn into a cold face. The Mysterious man prepare his halberd. The both of them is going to clash.

Now on Kiara Side.

'I should just shower them with Wind Bullets huh...'

She thought. Her eyes turn sharp.

'Eagle Eyes.'

Kiara enhance her eyes. She look around the Churches and inside the Churches. After she find the location of the book, She get to action.

From the tip of her sword, A lot more wind bullet was summoned. And she just shoot it without any hesitation. Everyone on the outside died. But they're not Lavi. They can't reduce the sound they made.

So a lot more people comes out. But she's Sniper. So she just shot a lot more bullet to them. After Kiara felt like she clean the whole Church down. She jumped to the building and went inside. But suddenly, A woman with a morning star greeted her with a sudden swing.

Kiara jumped back and immediately put her sword forward. She shot another wind bullet to the woman. But that woman is crazy fast. She just dodge it and swing her morning star down.

With the eyes of psychopath, The woman swing it hard. Kiara jumped up and use the wall as her step. She leaped forward and aim another wind bullet to her.

The woman crouched down and Dodge Kiara bullet again. Kiara fall down and asked her.

"Who are you?"

"Who cares who I'm anymore?"

She replied with a smile. From that answer. Kiara know.

'This woman... She's rotten from the inside. She must've been tormented inside... I must free her.'

Kiara mark shines her sword shines.

"Fear not woman. I will take you to salvation!"

Kiara declare. The woman wasn't amused by that. Her smile vanished and what just left is just a mad woman. She leaped and swing her morning star toward Kiara.

"Die!"

She said. Kiara take a deep breath. She put her sword back on the scabbard and then, She just dashed forward. Suddenly, The woman body was filled with holes.

"Rest in Piece you woman. I hope Goddess Althea forgive your sins."

Kiara said. She left The woman on the floor and she come downstairs to grab the 3rd books. After she completed that task, She don't want to get what Lavi get. So she immediately run.

"Hello Bianca? This is Kiara. I got the 3rd book. I'm coming."

"Ah Yes! Good Work!"

Kiara immediately run to Katavitze. Now back to Brendon.

He hold his Long Sword and leaped. The man swing his halberd down. But Brendon just break it with his sword.

'Iron Strike.'

The Halberd was shattered into pieces. But then, The man grabbed a bunch of small knives and throw it to Brendon.

'Berserks Howl!'

"ORRAAAAAA!!!!"

Instantly, The space shakes. The knives fall down. Brendon leaped again and swing his sword down. And The man was split into two.

"Fwoo! That's close. If I don't use Serene Mind, I won't be able to see that initial grab movement."

Brendon thought. He was full aware that the man is grabbing something because he's so focused on his subtle movement. So Brendon is able to counter that with his Berserks Howl.

Berserks Howl. An Ability to raise one voice. If the user Scream, It temporarily stop everything from moving.

Brendon put his sword back on the back and it changes again. He grab the 2nd Book and run out.

"Bianca, I'm done grabbing the 2nd Book."

"Thank you! Good Work!"

Both Kiara and Brendon call Pixel to teleport them to Bianca in Katavitze. Both Brendon and Kiara give Bianca the books. And they immediately leave. Because they don't want to pressure Bianca work.

They eat food together because they just complete their task safely.

While for Bianca. She wear her mask to get the effect of Serene Mind.

'Serene Mind. Simultaneous Reading. Auto Reading.'

Bianca pour candle wax on all two books and wait for all the ink to show up. And then, She just use her spells.

Simultaneous Reading is a spell that enable Bianca to use her brain at the same time to read two books or more. But it does require both eyes to be able to read the sentences.

And Auto Reading is a spell that enable Bianca to read book just by touching the book. So all the information come from her. It took a lot of brain power to do everything simultaneously.

After she's done reading it. She de-activate her Simultaneous Reading and Auto Read. With Serene Mind still activate, She process all the information separately.

She was shocked to find the information. She took two research paper and use both hands simultaneously. She split her brain to work together again. And because Bianca is an Ambidextrous, She can easily do everything together.

She put the two research paper on the wall and stamp it. And she read it from paper 1 to 3.

"As Expected... Those guys are doing something Crazy... Bianca must inform everyone about this before it's too late!"

Bianca said. She immediately call Erina.

"Yes Bianca? What's happening?"

"Erina! Bianca want Erina to call everyone as soon as possible! It's a World Threat!"

Bianca said. Erina was shocked.

"Got it."

Erina said. The first one she inform is Leon Niou. A red Haired man with Red Robe and Red eyes. He's what people call a manly man.

With the job Tank. He was called 'Blast' by everyone in the party.

"Leon. This is Erina. Bianca said that everyone need to be here tomorrow. Can you help me inform everyone?"

"Got it. I will inform Pixel about it."

Leon said. Erina, Bianca and Leon called 3 more people. And eventually, Everyone heard Bianca message.

Lavi and Gwen is training with Riri. They hear about that and they said.

"Hey Riri. You want to come meeting the other member?"

Lavi asked. Riri get chills.

"No I'm good... I'm quite scared meeting them..."

"I see... Okay then. Sis, Can you take her home and then Pick me up?"

"Okay."

Gwen take Riri back to her castle. And then, Gwen went back to Lavi. Lavi transfer his Magic to Gwen and they teleport back to Katavitze. They pick Bianca up and they went to Hollis Royal Castle.

"Erina!"

Bianca called her. Erina look at her and they all sat down on their chair.

"Calm down Bianca. Pixel is still picking everyone up."

Erina said. Bianca calm down. Couple of minutes later, Pixel arrived with everyone else. They sat down at their chairs. The guards were guarding the Room so that no one can come in accidentally. And the room itself were protected by a 7 Tiered Barrier.

Bianca took her 3 paper out and stick it to the white board.

"Everyone! Please look what Bianca found!"

Bianca said. Everyone look at the 3 Papers and they get chills from reading it all together. Lavi is the one speaking.

"So they want to sacrifice human and demon to do the Demon Lord Resurrection Ritual huh... That bastards... They do something really dangerous..."

Lavi said. His bloodlust is strong. And everyone started leaking bloodlust as well. They can't believe the Human that they save is this rotten.

Erina suddenly fall asleep. Everyone don't mind her. When Erina is asleep, Usually it means that she's receiving divination from Althea.

Bianca is still explaining what they can do and can't do. And then, Erina wake up.

"I've received Divination from Goddess Althea. She said that the Ritual will fail. And it's not going to summon the Demon Lord again."

Everyone sighed in relieve. But Erina face is still grim.

"But... Something even more Dangerous will come..."

Everyone shuddered. They don't want to think what that could be. Just fighting Demon Lord, They have sacrificed a bunch of soldiers. And now it's something far stronger that Demon lord? No one wants to know.

"They're not going to summon the Demon Lord... They will failed and instead, Summon something far worse. Far Stronger. Far Eviler. It's the Demon God."

Everyone immediately get scared. As the name suggest, It's something far worse than the Demon Lord.

The atmosphere turn worse and worse. Bianca is only standing still. She's calculating hard. She is trying to find a way that they can win against the Demon God with the current them.

But she can't. Even with her insane speed of thinking, She can find the way. So Bianca grind her teeth. Everyone hope vanished. Except for one person. And that person is Lavi Amidis. The Leader. The one full of hope. The Carrier of Hope himself.

He can't show any side of hopelessness. He's the leader. If the Leader lost hope, Everyone lost hope. So he stood up. He told Bianca to sat down and he slam the white board.

Everyone immediately get shocked by that. Everyone look at him. Lavi is having a really serious eyes. And if the Leader is serious, Everyone is serious.

Their hopeless eyes turn into a sliver of hope.

"You guys are thinking if they actually managed to summon it. Remember! If we can stop it from happening, The Ritual itself will fail. Erina Sister."

Lavi look at Erina.

"Yes!"

Erina panicked and she stood up.

"Have Goddess Althea told you when that's going to happen?"

"Yes! It's in 2 Years."

Lavi smiled as he saw the hope.

"Then, In this 2 Years. We're going to destroy every Cults available. If we stop them early, It's going to be better for us."

Lavi said. Bianca didn't think of that solution because she didn't know the time. So she immediately wear her mask.

'Serene Mind!'

She immediately calculate again. Lavi smiled.

"Did you guys forget who we are?"

Lavi asked. Everyone was taken aback for a second. They smiled and then said.

"Of course not!"

Lavi slam the white board.

"WHO ARE WE?!"

Bianca immediately pull her mask up and everyone stood up.

"WE'RE 10 HARBINGERS!"

Everyone screamed with their hands on their heart.

"WHAT DO WE DO?!"

"SAVE THE WORLD!"

"WHAT'S OUR PROBLEM NOW?!"

"SAVING THE WORLD!"

"WE! 10 HARBINGERS IS GOING TO SAVE THE WORLD! NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES, HOW HARD IT IS!!!"

Everyone screamed at the same time. They circle around the table and put their hands together.

"LET'S GO!"

"OOOUUU!!!"

With Lavi speech, Everyone regain their confidence back. Everyone smiled at him. Lavi turned around and move back to the White Board. Everyone see that Reliable Back and thought.

'And that's why you're our Leader Lavi.'

Lavi turned around again and look at everyone. He saw their usual face and said.

"Bianca. Have Bianca find the answer?"

"Yes Leader! Bianca have find it!"

"Good. Leader want Bianca to tell everyone."

Bianca stood up and she put her mask on her Storage. Lavi sat back on his chairs. And Gwen immediately squeeze his hands. Lavi squeeze back Gwen hands.

Bianca smiled at everyone. Everyone look at her seriously.

"Now that Erina tell us the time. Bianca find the correct answer to take all of this. Everyone. Bianca want you to listen to Bianca closely!"

Bianca said. Her voice is really dependable right now. She explain all the plan really nice and perfect. Everyone plant that plan on their brain and they applause to Bianca.

Bianca blushed and she bowed.

'Oh god... Riri would be pissed when she know about this... She doesn't get to see Lavi Legendary Speech that Bring Everyone Hope Back...'

Gwen thought. Bianca sat back down. Lavi look at Erina. Erina stood up and she put her crown on the table.

She doesn't want to give speech as a queen. She want to give speech as a comrade. Erina stood in front of the white board. She change her dress into her usual clothing.

"Erina Hollis. Or Queen. I'm thankful for everyone to coming here. Strategist. Thank you for telling the plans. Anyone have problem with Strategist plan?"

No one put their hands up. They trust Bianca plan all the way.

"Ace. Thank you for the speech. That's speech, Is why we call you our leader. You're the light in the end of a really dark tunnel. You're the only hope in the hopelessness. And now that I say that, I will give everyone the perfect chance to say their thanks to you."

Erina said. Lavi blushed. Everyone stood up one by one starting from Leon, Pixel, Bianca, Kiara, Luke, Brendon, Eve, Gwen,

Let's hear what Eve have to say about Lavi.

She's a cyan haired woman with cyan haired eyes. She also wear a light purple coat. She's the Illusionist and her Alias is 'Mirage.'

"Lavi Amidis. Known better as Ace, Silver Annihilation, Leader, And most importantly. Hero. Your job is to bring hope to everyone in the world from any trouble. And we. The rest of the 10 Harbingers. Respect you the most in this world. You're just 16 But you are able to carry the heavy burden of the world."

Eve said. Everyone smiled like usual.

"And I, Eve Claria. Mirage. Thank you for doing all of that. And Most Importantly. I'm sorry for pranking you."

Everyone laughed. Lavi forgive her and Eve sighed in relieve. She sat back down and now it's Gwen.

"Lavi. My First Ever Pupil. My first ever Lover. We act like a family. But we want more. And I'm glad that we hooked up now. And I, Angel. Promises to heal everyone in the party. We will stand beside you in your hardest time, and your best time. Once again. We all love you Lavi. You're just a really strong person."

Gwen said. Everyone agreed on that and Gwen sat back down. Lavi stood up and take the speech again.

"Angel, Mirage, Sage, Sniper, Berserk, Assassin, Queen, Strategist, Blast. Thank you for all the kind word. I'm Honored to be the leader of 10 Harbingers."

Lavi started tearing up. Everyone smiled at him. They can't help but feel the emotion that Lavi give them.

"I know that I should leave all the crying when we finished our task. But I'm confidence we can pull it off. I'm happy to have brothers, sisters like you guys. Once again. I will rely on you guys when the time come!"

Everyone nodded. They all stood up. They wear their mask and pull their sword up. Bunch of Different type of sword hit each other.

"Once again! We're going to save the world! No matter how tough it is! We will do this!"

Lavi said. Everyone push their sword higher and they swing it down. They stop right before the table and their Mark shines. Althea is there with them too. Like a Gentle mother, Althea use wind as a way to hug all of them.

They received that and put their swords back to the Scabbard. Everyone went out of the room with their mask still on. They went to the Dining table to eat. They take their mask off and put away their sword. They change into a really casual clothing. Like just normal cotton shirt and short pants and skirt.

They eat a really fancy dinner before everyone went back to their area. Luke, Pixel is the primary people to find the Churches. And when everyone is ready, They will regroup and attack everyone at the same time.

It's a one time thing. Once and for all. They're not going to let Demon God Rise to this world. And that's their oath.
