Chapter 46: Working on Mari.

Finally, After everything was said and done. People started buying land on the new district called the 'Lavi District.' All of the land that was inside the First Wall is Owned by Lavi. Thus, People who want to put their building need to talk with Lavi.

But Lavi thought that it was too time consuming. So he put the work on everyone other than him. And now, There's quite a lot of people started making houses and restaurant that they been wanting to make.

Just like before, Lavi expanded on the Sewers and make sure everything look nice and clean. Xaphier Family have moved to their house. The North wall now has gates. Some of Nazuna family also moved there.

Lavi gives Hazzi and the other Kuroyuki the benefit of teaching the Knight in the castle. So Lavi have been putting a lot of work. But he didn't work on Mari.

The girls is always talking to Mari like she's one of their own. They're pretty close with each other. But Mari spend most of her time working on her stuff so that she can sell it and pay rent to Lavi. Though Lavi not really care that much because, He loves Mari. But he can't just blatantly say 'I love you' and hope Mari would accept it.

Though, Althea is confident that if Lavi do that, Mari would accept. But Lavi didn't want to take the risk. Even if the one SAYING that is Althea herself.

Althea and the others have given Lavi yet another nickname. 'The Ignorant Love.'

"Hey Mari. Are you doing well?"

"Master! Yes. I've been doing well. What can I do for you Master?"

"No. I just want to see you work. Is that fine?"

"Of course. You can observe me Master."

Mari said calmly. Lavi was quite enjoying getting call Master by her. The same as the other Fiancees. They love calling Lavi master and Lavi enjoy getting called Master. It just awoken something inside them...

Anyway, Lavi observe Mari making some new piece of equipment. It's the skating equipment. Lavi sat down smiling at Mari. Mari feel a little bit weird that Lavi is smiling at her.

"Umm... Master... C-Can you not stare at me please? I feel a little bit attacked..."

Mari said. Lavi get back inside his mind and thought.

'Right. She is not my Fiancee yet. I need to act calm and composed and try to ask her a little bit at a time. And then I will bust the bomb out and ask her out.'

Lavi coughed and clean his throat.

"So Mari. What do you like to make when you're free?"

Lavi asked. As a Blacksmith, Mari like something specific to make in her free time. Even if it's not useful for anyone. It's something that she always make because she enjoy making it.

"I really like making sword. Your Sword Master, I always make them because, I wonder if you ever come to me and ask to make another one."

Mari said. She let out a pure smile and it's that type of moment that make Lavi fell in love with girls. When they talk about something that they're really passionate about and they mention Lavi name. It's the thing that makes Lavi want them for the rest of his live.

"Well, Have you find your parent yet?"

"No... I don't know where they've gone. I ask Lord Althea... She just say that they've abandoned me and move to another city and start a new life there."

Lavi nodded. He look at Mari expression carefully. He don't want Mari to feel attacked like before. So he's been keeping his stare and smile to the minimum.

"I see... Do you want to meet them?"

"No. Not really. If I go to meet them, They're going to harass me because of my Black Wing. So, I would rather to never meet them again and just live my life as it is. After all, I find new enjoyment working in Shireno."

Lavi smiled big when hearing that. He cover his mouth and blushed for a bit. Once again. Mari is speaking with calm and collected expression. But there's affection in her voice that reach Lavi ear. She's really thankful that Lavi decided to meet him at that time. If not, She will definitely died from killing herself.

"You know Master... No one likes me in the Beastmen country. They always discriminate me and I couldn't hold it for all my life. So I'm really thankful that Master decided to call me and bring me to Euriana. In Euriana, I found some happiness once again just forging weapon for you and your comrades. It really bring joy to me. But then, All that joy vanished when you stopped coming Master..."

Lavi felt a little bit bad because, He was the one asking Mari to move to Euriana. And yet, He also left here at Euriana and not ask her to join him in Shireno. As much as he want to ask Lavi to bring her there. She can't really do that.

After all, She's nothing more than a Colleague at the time. But when Lavi ask her to join him to Shireno. She's really happy because, She get to see Snow for the first time in her life and she get to get closer to her savior and find happiness again.

"You know Mari. I did feel a little bit bad when I left you in Euriana that time. I was so hype on moving in by my own that I forgot you there. So, Sorry about that. At least you're here with all of us now."

Lavi said. Mari smiled. She finished the Ice Skating Shoes. Lavi grab it and said.

"Well, Thank you so much for making this. You want to talk a little bit more or..."

Lavi asked. The reason he was asking Mari to make the skating piece is because he just want to talk to her. Mari immediately let out an awkward smile.

"Master... We're nothing than Master and Maid... The Madams will get mad at me if I, The maid get too close to you... I don't want you to lose all the relationship just because of me..."

Mari said. Lavi was quite hurt by the line 'Nothing More than Master and Maid.' But it's true. Lavi stand up on his point to not touch female in s****l manner other than his wives.

"You know... I don't really mind if you join them..."

Lavi said in quiet voice. Mari look at him confused.

"Excuse me Master? Did you say something?"

"N-Never mind... Thank you. I will talk to you later..."

Lavi said with a smile. He left the Forge with embarrassment. Mari is in the Forge still and she actually heard what Lavi said. But she want to confirm it with Lavi. But Lavi evaded that question. Making Mari confidence that what she heard is actually true.

She blushed and put her hands over her mouth.

"Master... I too... Want to be with you... I want to join the Fiancees but... I'm afraid that you have too much Wives that they might decline me..."

Mari said nervously to the air. So in the End. Althea always correct. But Lavi is too afraid that he might get rejected.

Anyway, Lavi get out from the Castle area and go out. Along the way, He greet everyone who's playing on the street. They're playing some sort of catch ball with the snow. Lavi thought that was stupid because it's winter. But it seems like everyone who's doing that actually have a decent cold resistance.

So Lavi let them do anything they want. Lavi go out to the Frozen Lake and he fear the pair of Skates. Everyone was looking at what Lavi is doing. And when Lavi started doing some cool stuff, They were wondering how Lavi do it. And that's where Lavi turn that into money.

He let out 10 more pairs of skates. And he rent it out for 2 Silvers per hours. Everyone wait for their turn and they started learning how to adapt to the balance.

And it doesn't take long until everyone started to balance with the skate. But for now, They only slide around the ice. Lavi didn't want them to break their leg or cut someone accidentaly.

'Now that I thought about it. This is a great blade...'

Lavi thought. He then ignore that stupid thought process and decided to enjoy the Skating more.

People started to come more and more. Only have 10 pairs for now. So everyone only get enjoy it a little bit at a time.

He also have another pair inside his Storage. He was waiting for someone to come.

'Ah~ If only they realize~'

Lavi thought. He was really enjoying the Skate. He didn't really need to worry about the Ice breaking because he already put Magic Stones with Invulnerable Fortress in it. So it won't break.

Who's Lavi waiting? Well, He's waiting for someone. She's a Princess. And have a Bluish Silver Hair. And fortunately, She come pretty quick.

"Lavi!"

Elli come in and waved toward Lavi. Lavi skated toward her and give Elli his other Pairs.

"Well then Elli. Should we skate together?"

"Yes!"

Elli without any trouble, Put the Skate on and she started gliding behind Lavi. Everyone immediately go to the side and give the middle of the Lake to Lavi. Lavi and Elli started doing some crazy stuff by themselves. It seems like they already do it so many time.

Well, They did do it so many time. After all, Elli was interested in anything that Lavi doing. Lavi and Elli do their part and then everyone started practicing again. Lavi grab Elli hand and they slide off to the snow.

"How do you enjoy that Elli? It's the first time we actually do it with proper equipment."

"It's fun! As expected of my Lavi~"

Elli jumped to Lavi and Lavi naturally pick her up. Her arms circle around Lavi neck and they ended the session. Everyone was happy and they look forward to do another one like that.

Lavi and Elli go around the city looking at the stuff they want to eat. Everyone greet Lavi and Elli with respect and they greet them back. It's necessary for them to stay close to the Citizens. That's what Lavi think at least.

He want to be someone that not only his wives can count on. But the citizens that lives under him can count as well.

And so far, Lavi have done a really good job. Elli respect Lavi a lot for doing whatever he was doing. It's respectable.

After buying some food. Lavi go back to the Basement and go to the Forge. In there. He saw Mari is sleeping on the table.

'Haah... Mari... I want to talk with you more but, You're sleeping...'

With her maid Clothing still on. Mari is sleeping face down on the Table. Lavi come closer and what he saw is shocking. Lavi breast was out and her hand are in her crotch.

Lavi blushed. He was tempted to lay his finger on Mari. But Lavi managed to fight back because it's not his way. So he pull some nice warm blanket and put it on her.

Lavi look over and saw a bunch of Bluish Silver Sword. Lavi blushed once again.

'D-Does this mean that Mari have some sort of feeling to me too? Can I assume it's safe for me to confess?'

Lavi thought. But seeing that Mari is still sleeping. He went out to the bathroom and rub one out. He decided to not tell anyone about it because, Everyone will blame him for it and beat the living s**t out of him.

Well... Now that's completed and more information is gained from Mari. Lavi is happy. He go to the Guild because he notices something big on the Monster Detector that he make. And it's something called the Snow Snakes. And it's a behemoth. Lavi can't let that monster running around in the area because, It will kills all the wildlife.

Lavi run straight to the guild with Aoi. Lavi meet with Comet and Comet immediately ask him.

"Your Highness! Always at the right time I see! Snow Snakes. South West from Shireno."

"Got you."

Lavi take the quest and fly there with Aoi. Lavi didn't really need to accept the quest since it's his territory. But he always accept it because it give the guild more reputation. Meaning that more adventurer will come to Shireno and get to enjoy how harsh it is living in this White Hell.

Lavi and Aoi go to the South West where they detect the Snow Snakes. It's freaking Giant. With the length around 10 Meters and 4 Meters wide. It's quite the monster.

Lavi jumped down and Aoi fly down as well in her Humanoid Figures. Lavi immediately draw his sword. He notices that normal attack wouldn't work on Behemoth. Pure Sword Art and God Sword art is the only way for Lavi to kill Behemoth.

Without any Limit Break or Absolute Sharpness. Lavi just use his sword.

'Pure Sword Art. God Sword Art.'

"Mountain Breaker."

Lavi smack his sword down and the Snakes was split into two perfectly. Lavi swing his sword down and the Snow absorbed the blood of the snake. Lavi put his sword back into his scabbard and he cut the Venom Sack from the Snow Snakes.

"Master. What's that?"

"Oh, This is Venom Sack. You should know about it."

"I know about it. But why did you grab it? "

Lavi smiled bright. He have a big plan for everything he do. It's mysterious how his brain work...

"You see... Based on the report that I read. Snakes Venom actually kills a lot of people. So, I was thinking if I can research Snow Snake Venom, I could make an antidote for it. And now, Think about it. This Snow Snake is a behemoth. Meaning the Venom is more Potent than any snakes out there. So, If I could give the Laboratory this and they could research it."

Aoi look quite confused by that.

"Can't they just use magic to clean it?"

"You think everyone can use Magic? No... Only a few of people can use Healing Magic. They either going to buy Potion or Antidote. But most antidote didn't treat this kind of venom."

"You're right. There's a lot of snakes that can kill people in just seconds by paralyzing them and stopping their heart... And a lot of them are unsuspecting people too. So they didn't bring anything to stop the Venom to spread further. If you managed to make an anti venom for all snakes using this, The world will be safer."

"Yeah. I don't want to kill normal animal. They're beautiful and cool. The only thing I will kill is monster. And Bugs..."

Lavi said. Aoi chuckled. Lavi put the Snakes on his Storage Magic and they happily go back to the Guild. Lavi go down and Aoi fly down slowly. Lavi go inside the guild and go to Comet.

"Comet. I'm done with killing the Snakes. I will be taking the Venom Sack for laboratory purpose."

"Yes. Thank you your Highness."

Lavi leave the corpse on the Disassembly room. Lavi go to Aoi and they ride back home. Aoi come down Lavi jumped off of Aoi back and use his Airwalk to go to the Laboratory to meet Iggi.

He arrived at the Laboratory.

"Everyone. This is Lavi speaking. Please don't come to Room number 3 without wearing a really thick suit. I'm handling the most venomous snake venom right now. It's Snow Snake Behemoth Venom. So, Try to not come in willy nilly and touch the venom."

Lavi said to everyone in the Laboratory. He was assisted with Iggi who wear a really thick suit that Lavi gives Purification so that the venom would not do anything to the Suit.

Iggi bring the most venomous Snake that they catch in Euriana a couple years back called the Red Headed Snakes.

Euriana and Shireno actually have been working to make an anti venom for a while now. Since Euriana is in dire need of a lot of Anti Venom from this Snakes.

As people know, Lavi is a daredevil. He doesn't shy away when doing something. If it means protecting more people. He didn't care what happened to him.

What do he do? He want to see how potent it actually is. So Lavi draw blood samples and put it in a container. Lavi draw the venom out of the Red Headed Snake. And then he drop some venom from the sack.

And the Blood with the Behemoth Venom actually curdles faster. So much faster. In one second it's going to clot your blood vessel.

Lavi put the Red Headed Snake on his arm. Iggi panicked.

"Your Highness?!"

Lavi drag it back and remember.

"You can't do that your Highness! The Snake will be hurt if it try to bite you!"

"Right. I'm sorry..."

Lavi give the snake back to Iggi and he took it back to the pen. If Lavi didn't pull away that moment, The Red Headed Snake will bite him and it's going to die because Lavi body is really hard.

And also, He have Althea Blessing. Venom didn't affect his body at all. Lavi decided to research the venom cause more. With Red Headed Snake venom. The victim will get a sensation of burning and the area around the bite is going to get really burn-y. It's going to make a burn wound.

And for the Behemoth. It's actually even crazier. It will paralyze the body before eventually, Slowly rotting away.

And it just from 0.1 mL of venom. It's really crazy. With a lot of venom in store in the Venom Sack, Everyone have a lot of potential to actually finish the Anti Venom that they really needed.

Lavi leave them for now because, He will visit again after a couple of days to ask for results. If they still struggling, Lavi will jump into the scene with new knowledge from the Books in the Royal Library.

Speaking of Library, The house actually have their own Library now. Where Bianca always spend her time. Lavi like spending time there because, There's a lot of knowledge about anything that Lavi want to know. Since it's Bianca collection of books.

Lavi was particularly interested in the guide of Survival for the time being. That's why he was so captivated by Snake Venom and also, Why he want to save peoples live. He realize that a lot of great adventurer died from Venom that normal animal inflicted to them.

Since Normal Human Physique and 10 Harbingers Physique is quite different.
