Chapter 7: Raid with Luke.

Night come. Lavi meet up with Luke. Gwen is keeping her guard up as well. As soon as either Lavi or Luke give her a call about Healing. She will teleport to the area. While Riri. Is still focused on her school.

"Luke!!!"

Lavi leaped at him. Luke is a black haired man. Same as his hair, His eyes is also black. He also wear black coat, Black clothing. That's because in the Night, It's almost impossible to see him in the pitch black.

Luke leaped at Lavi and they bump each other back.

"Ey!"

Luke and Lavi immediately shouldered each other. It's the first time they interact. Though they meet at the Black Dragon Incident, Lavi didn't speak to any of them because of the Black Dragon wound he receive.

But now, They have all night to interact.

"So, Are you ready to go to the Abandoned Church?"

Luke is smiling. He was asking and Lavi can hear that Luke is pretty excited to do this. Lavi smiled to Luke and nodded.

"Alright! Let's do it, Hold onto me! I'm going to use Shadow Walk!"

"Yes!"

Lavi immediately hold Luke shoulder. Suddenly, The Ground turned black. Both Lavi and Luke get swallowed by that Black Ground.

Lavi close his eyes and let Luke guide him through the Shadow World. Lavi didn't open his eyes because he can't handle what the Shadow Realm look like. And if he somehow let go of Luke and Luke didn't notice it. Lavi will die in that Realm and no one can find his body. Even Luke himself.

That's how terrifying the Shadow Realm are. But since Lavi already know that, they arrived inside the Church. And they're planning to attack from the underground.

The Staircase leading down is so dark. People usually go through there with lantern on their hand.

But right now, There's no one. So they can appear from out of no where without problem.

Lavi use his CQC Magic.

'Soundproof Barrier, Night Vision.'

Lavi enhance their body with Night Vision and they kill all their voice. Luke and Lavi use their Stealth and wear their mask.

'Serene Mind.'

Lavi and Luke immediately concentrate. Lavi and Luke do their combo.

'Aura Read.'

Lavi use his Aura read to determine the location. He saw 4 People in the room below them and 12 People on the top. He is getting ready to use his Silence. And with his sword getting ready to be drawn. It's the perfect combo of assassination.

Without talking to each other. Lavi and Luke understand each other. Luke went back to the Shadow Realm. Lavi immediately Silent all 4 of them. Luke comes out from one of the person Shadow and drag him down. Instantly. They died in that realm. Luke keep moving. He grab one other person down.

But seeing that sudden attack. The other 2 try to scream. But their mouth was kept shut. They run outside to only see Lavi figure with his hand on the sword.

Lavi dashed forward and draw his sword. Suddenly, Their head was spinning on their neck.

They were undetected through out. With the Combination of Soundproof Barrier, Silence, and Stealth.

Luke who's still on the Shadow Realm Grab Lavi foot thinking that it's the opponent. Luke felt that it's really heavy. So he look up and see Lavi.

He make a hand sign to Lavi saying 'Sorry~' 

He grab the corpses down to the Shadow Realm. Luke comes out and they speak.

"So, What inside there?"

Lavi asked. Luke just shake his head.

"It's just a bed and a book. The book is nothing though."

"Really? Did you grab it?"

"Yeah. I will grab it and give it to Bianca later. If she can find out what's in this book, It would be nice."

"I see. Good work!"

Lavi pat Luke shoulder. Luke smiled and Lavi grab his shoulder again. They go back upstairs using Shadow Walk. And for that 12 opponent. Lavi take care of it while Luke take care of the corpses.

They're on the ceiling right now. Luke dropped themselves out of the Shadow Realm. Everyone immediately take notice of that Black Spots on the ceiling. But they didn't see anything because of the Stealth.

Lavi go to action.

'Silence. Shackles.'

Lavi Silence Everyone there and Shackles their foot down. Lavi draw his sword and swing it horizontally. Luke crouched down. Everyone died. Lavi destroy the Light source and Luke just drag everyone to the Shadow Realm.

"So Ace.. Is there someone else in the area?"

"No... There's none in my Aura Read."

"I see. That's great then! We managed to finish one of many Demon Lord Cult."

Luke said. They high fived and take their masks off. But suddenly. Lavi felt a 20 Red Aura appear out of nowhere.

"Assassin... Seems like our job isn't done yet. Let's do a 1 - 2 Tactic."

"Got it Leader."

There's another 20 Aura outside the Church. And they're armed with weapons. Most of them use A really high quality Crossbows. And the rest of them use shields.

They're moving very slowly. It seems like they're noticing something wrong with the Church.

'I think they notice that no one is going up and down anymore.'

'I agree Lavi. Ready to come out?'

'I'm always ready.'

They're talking through their Mark inside the Shadow Realm. The Night is still young. The moon is covered by the black cloud. There's Storm going to arrived in Euriana in 5 AM.

So they have a lot of time. Lavi got ejected by Luke on one end. And Luke move to the other end. What they mean by 1 - 2 tactics is that, Lavi is going to kill half of them. Luke is going to kill half of them too. But also for Luke. He's going to swallow the corpses down to his Shadow Realm.

'Lavi. You're ready?'

'Yes. Here I go!'

Lavi immediately Put Silence on everyone. And then, he Shackles everyone to the Ground. Everyone panicked because they were shackled to the Ground. Lavi take his sword out. Luke take his sword out. And they just circle around them just splitting them in half. Lavi take a good look of their back. And it all the same. So they're confiden that is the cult.

But Luke is tired now since he's been going nonstop with the Shadow Walk. He doesn't have enough Magic Energy to swallow everyone in one go.

"Come on Assassin. I will share half of my magic."

"Oh! How good!"

Lavi and Luke hold their left hand together and from Lavi, A magic energy flow toward Luke. Luke receive that Magic energy.

For Luke, He doesn't have a big Magic Pool. So only half of Lavi magic is enough to put him on full. And now, With full Magic. Luke can clean everything up.

He focused on his magic energy and he transfer it to the Ground.

"Shadow World."

Suddenly, Around the area, A black circle appear. And it eat all the corpses away. It was stored in the Shadow Realm where they go usually.

And now, With all 20 Corpses cleaned up. They can rest good. Lavi is yawning. It's a midnight job that he got for a long time. Luke is still good. He's always tired when it Day time because he's a Night people.

"Well then Lavi. I'll see you later! When the Job appear again!"

Luke suddenly get swallowed by the Ground again. Lavi immediately activate his Stealth again and change his clothes. But then. Without any concerned. Lavi got hit by an arrow on the back of his foot.

He can feel something going up his body.

'This is! Tranq Arrow! s**t!'

Lavi panicked because he get shot when he's in stealth. Meaning, There's an Anti Stealth people somewhere in with them.

Lavi activate his CQC Magic again. This time, It's Flash.

"Flash!"

Lavi activate his Magic and a really bright ball of light blind everyone. He look around and see 30 More Red Aura.

's**t. I need to retreat!'

Another Tranq Arrow hit him. They managed to hit him blind. Lavi immediately store the Tranq arrow that was stuck in his body. So that he doesn't have to feel the pain from pulling it out.

He immediately heal the hole and he ran.

'Track.'

Lavi didn't forget to use Track to the Biggest threat there.

'He's a high ranking priest for the cult. I need to be careful. Since people who have a high ranking in the Cult, Usually have a big power that they get from the Demon Lord.'

Lavi ran as fast as he could and arrived back at his Inn. He immediately dropped on the floor after stumble on the window.

Gwen immediately check on his condition.

"Lavi! Are you okay?!"

Lavi can't move or talk. Turns out. It's not Tranq Arrow. It's Paralyzing Arrow. Gwen immediately identified what it is and heal Lavi.

"Huh Thank you Sis... I get ambushed by the higher up of the Cult."

"What happened with Luke?"

"We've done the job. So Luke and I was moving to get home. When Luke went back to his Shadow Realm, I change my clothes. But then, I get shot on my Foot and Hip."

"I see. Good job. It's fine now."

Gwen said. Lavi climb the bed and he still feel the phantom pain from the arrow.

'Luke. Where are you?'

'I'm in the Shadow World! Why?'

'Don't try to fight other Cult okay? Don't act rash. It's an order.'

'Got it.'

With him telling Luke the order. Lavi can feel a little bit great now. But he do need to keep track of them.

Lavi and Gwen went to bed. They went to bed normally because Gwen didn't want to tire Lavi again.

The next morning. Lavi wake up and see that Gwen is talking with Luke. They're discussing about what happened Last night toward Lavi and why Lavi give Luke the order to not come out and fight other cult for a moment.

"Sis. Are you talking to Luke?"

"Yeah. Sorry. But can I talk to him for a moment?"

"Sure. I will talk to Bianca then."

Lavi call Bianca. Bianca is one of the member of the 10 Harbingers. She's not the Strongest one. Rather, She's one of the weakest member. But, She's still can kill stuff efficiently.

Bianca is a really smart Girl. He's the Smartest Member in the Party. Everyone always rely on her when things come to a bad result. And because of that, Their party is always managed to save themselves from trouble.

So Bianca didn't feel like she's messed everyone up. Thus, She get the Alias 'Strategist' and her job is Genius.

"Bianca. Have Luke told you about the Mystery book that we found Last Night?"

"Yeah. Luke had told Bianca about it. And also Leader. Are you Okay? Bianca is worried about you..."

Lavi chuckled.

"Don't worry Bianca. Leader isn't some weakling you know? Not only that, I have Gwen Sister with me. So Bianca. If you get any information about it, Tell Leader okay?"

"Okay Leader! Bianca will look into it immediately!!!"

Lavi smiled hearing Bianca usual cool voice turn into a really excited Voice.

For Bianca, She really loves Lavi because she's cool and gentle to someone as weak as her. Everyone always think that Bianca is a burden the first time they meet. But Lavi keep her and Bianca keep working harder.

As the results, Bianca get the respect she deserved and everyone pretty much like her now. It took them 1 Year before everyone can get along.

Especially with Pixel. He's the Sage. So he is quite selfish. But then, Lavi and Everyone else saved him from a really pickle situation. And they get along now. Everyone have to start somewhere at some point.

After giving the task to the Excited Bianca. Lavi go to the bathroom to take a bath. He submerged himself in the water and he use his Track.

But then, He was shocked by no results.

'Even my CQC Track can't track them huh...'

Lavi was genuinely surprised. His set of skills is really special. His Tracking can only be used when he's close to his Enemy. But once he put Track on them, They can't really put it off.

'So there's only one answer to that abnormality. And that's Barrier... Only a high tier barrier can block my Track... So we're up against really big opponent here...'

Lavi had make his judgement. But he still don't want to tell everyone about it yet. He still need more information from Bianca before telling them to meet up in Hollis and attack one of the bigger cult.

Lavi went out of the bath went out by himself again. He have an idea on how to track them. If it's work, It's going to be a big clue.

And so, He use Stealth again to go to the Church. But this time, He put it to the Max to erase any presence of him. Including footsteps, sound, smells, everything.

He see something protecting the area.

'So this is the barrier... It's certainly strong. And it's filled with evil as well. I can't get past through this without getting a mental attack...'

Lavi make his observation. He backed out really fast from seeing that barrier protecting them. He don't want to get attacked by a mental attack. So he went to the Guild.

Since he just want money... To buy house in the future. And for Kids in the future... They aren't going to feed themselves... Especially with 2 wives. They're going to be mad if Lavi didn't deliver...

Having the Highest Rank on the Guild. Meaning that he have a bunch of high ranking quest that pay for a lot of money.

Though everything have a big risk.

'Well! I love risk anyway! Let's take one of this Goblin Overlord up! They're paying me for 2 Royal Platinum Coin. Meaning that I have 20 Royal Gold Coin. And each Royal Gold Coin is 10 Platinum Coin! This is going to cover 1/20 of the cost of the house.'

Lavi take the quest. It's killing 20 Goblin Overlord. And Goblin Overlord is the strongest Goblin Race. With the strength of 100 Goblin for each of them.

'But still. Goblin is still Goblin.'

Lavi with his Ace guild card. Was given the quest without any hitch. He immediately activate his stealth and went to the area. The Area is 100 KM away from Euriana. To a Cave known as the Overlord Cave.

It took Lavi 3 Hour of Running. And Lavi didn't use his full speed because he need to use it later for going back. He don't want to feel tired before fighting 20 Goblin Overlord.

And he arrived. The Goblin Overlord is a really big Goblin. They're really muscular. He wait on the outside of the cave and just let out his bloodlust to bait them out from the cave.

And 40 Bloody Goblin Overlord comes out.

'Oh s**t! I better get 4 Royal Platinum Coin for this!'

Lavi just look at them as a bonus Platinum Coin. He draw his sword and get serious.

'Absolute Sharpness. Aura Read.'

Lavi hold his sword up with both hand. And without hesitation, He swing it to the Side.

'Blinkstrikes.'

With just one strike. Everything bounces as they hit the Goblin bodies. Bounces and bounces. They cut them into tiny little pieces.

Lavi pick 80 Ears out of that and he clean it. He put it in his storage and decided.

'Let's explore the cave for a bit to warn people.'

Lavi activate his Stealth and Soundproof Barrier. He charged inside the cave and as he go deeper. The monster keep getting terrifying. Hob Goblin, Troll, Orc. Lavi didn't want to fight any of them without support because he can't kill them with just Absolute Sharpness.

'Well... I can kill them with Silver Annihilation. But Silver Annihilation take all my magic away... I need Sis or Pixel to help me recover. So, Let's run away~'

Lavi get the information to sell to the Guild for more money. He run for 1 Hour in full speed and arrived at the Euriana Kingdom. He went to the guild and give them the run down.

And in total. Lavi get 5 Royal Platinum coin. 4 from the 40 Goblin and 1 from the Information that he sold to the guild. He went around the Real Estate to see the prices.

'Hm... 2/20 is done huh... I need to kill 360 Goblin Overlord... I'm actually fine with killing that amount of Goblins. But not really... It's boring.'

'I couldn't sell any dragon parts because that's just stupid. The meat is tasty, the scale is for armor, the bone and fang is for weapon. Everything is useful. So I don't want to waste that. Especially Black Dragon.'

Lavi thought. He arrived back at his inn and see that Gwen and Riri is doing their things. Lavi come in and went take another bath.

After he comes out, He was given a bunch of question that he must answer about their future. And then, Come this one.

"So Lavi. If someone want to join your harem. Will you let them?"

Gwen asked. Lavi look at Gwen and Riri.

"It's depend on you guys. If you don't want me to add more, I won't. But if Sis let me, I will."

"Eh? What about me though? You're not going to ask me about it?"

Lavi look at her awkwardly.

"I would ask you... But I would prefer Sis suggestion... Sorry Riri! Not that I trust you but... Gwen is my guide..."

Lavi said. Riri let out a disappointing look. But then, Gwen whisper something to her ears.

'Go push Lavi around. Didn't he say that he's going to love us both equally?'

'Ah! You're right!'

Riri immediately jumped toward Lavi. Lavi pick her up and Riri push him down.

"Hey Lavi... Didn't you say that you're going to love us equally? So... Please also consider my feeling..."

Riri said. Lavi was slapped by the reality. He did say that. Lavi hug her and said.

"Sorry Riri... I seems to have forgotten that fact... I will consider your feeling more... I'm really sorry. Sis! I thank you for reminding me about that."

"No worries."

Lavi hug Riri with all his feeling. That feeling was transferred to Riri. Riri was shocked by that and she hug Lavi tightly. Lavi bite Riri neck and she let out a cute noise.

"Kya!"

Riri look at Lavi with blushed cheeks. Gwen smiled at them. She want to joined in the fun. So she hug both Lavi and Riri. Her adult love transcend them both and they cling to Gwen.

If people look at them like this, People would think that they're a mother with son and daughter. But in reality no. It's A husband with his 2 wives. In the future...
