Chapter 36: Assassination Attempt.

"So. We have a good news and bad news for you guys."

Nick said. Everyone is drinking tea in the Castle Dining Room. They never really go eat there with Nick and Hailey. So both of them are happy now that it's quite noisy in that room.

Lavi have decided that he want to spend more time with Nick and Hailey because, The castle is so quiet without them. And because of Lavi wanting that, His Fiancees naturally follow that.

"I want the Good News first Dad."

"Okay. So, The good news is that, Hailey is pregnant."

Everyone nodded quietly and clapped their hands. Lavi was the first one to move to Hailey and Nick and hug them and congratulate them. And after him is Elli and the others. Lavi sit down and said.

"Wow. I'm going to have a little brother or sister... Oh crap... They will be so disappointed in me in the future..."

Lavi muttered awkwardly Elli agreed.

"They will see our forbidden relationship... Oh no... What do we do?"

Elli asked Lavi. Lavi shrug his shoulder and said.

"I don't know... But at least, We still have a long time before they knew the truth."

Lavi said. Elli agreed. Everyone let them panicked by themselves. And then. Nick give his bad news.

"The Bad news is. Riri. Charles was almost Assassinated."

Nick said. Everyone was shocked. Lavi immediately prepare for combat. He look over at everyone and give them their weapons.

"Calm your horses for now. From Charles information. He was okay. It seems like the Assassin come from Labola Kingdom. They wanted Charles dead so that they can gain the advantage in the upcoming war."

Lavi look at Riri.

"You know about this war Riri?"

Fortunately, Riri nodded. So she does have some sort of clues about this war. But Lavi also remember that there's Blue Dragon that they defeated from Labola Kingdom.

"Euriana and Labola have signed a non aggression form over 10 Years ago. But it seems like they broke that."

"Really? That's a really stupid move. Knowing that Euriana have an alliance with Hollis And Shireno."

Lavi said. Everyone nodded. That's indeed a stupid move from Labola Kingdom.

'Anyway. About that Dragon. It's quite weird that Charles tell me that the Dragon come from Labola Direction. It just make me think that they have some sort of way to make the Dragon come to them. It means that they control the Dragon to attack Euriana.'

Lavi have make his observation. He look over at Bianca.

"Bianca. Lavi think that Bianca didn't need to strategize about this. Lavi will use plan 1."

"Oh Plan 1? Okay then!"

"Plan 1. Is that where you go in and go out?"

Riri asked. Lavi nodded.

"It is. It's the plan where you go in. Destroy. And go out. It's the simplest plan and the most effective too."

Lavi explained. Everyone let out an awkward smile to Lavi. Plan 1 is Lavi idea. While everything else's Bianca.

Usually, Plan 1 is used to take care of something that only need 1 person to clear. Like intruding to a certain place and gain information.

Usually, It's done by Luke for Assassination. But this time. Lavi want to use it to stab the Labola Kingdom inside out.

Everyone look at Lavi weirdly because he have this really rotten smile on his face. And usually, That mean that Lavi is thinking of something really cruel.

"Gwen. Teleport to Euriana please?"

"Got you~" 

Suddenly, Everyone arrived at Euriana. Including Nick and Hailey. They arrived at Riri's room. It's empty.

"Riri. Let's search for your Dad."

"Got it."

They immediately walk around the castle and they find Charles in the Conference room. With the Queen. Irma.

"Oh! You guys are here?! Why didn't you guys call me first?"

Charles reaction when seeing them. Everyone saw the wound on his neck. Riri immediately get furious. Her aura turn really heavy.

"Father. Who did this to you?"

Irma is on the side. Her stomach is really bulging. Riri didn't realize that but Lavi have. She's pregnant. And from the look of things, It's going to come out anytime.

"Riri. I'm really happy that you're worried about me. But don't worry. We've gained some information from the Assassin. They work from Labola as you know."

Riri take her sword out.

"Guards. Can you show me where they are?"

"P-Princess?! W-What are you going to do?"

They panicked seeing Riri like that. Lavi immediately pull her closer to him and cover her eyes with his left hand.

"Calm down Riri. Did you realize that your Mother is pregnant?"

"Eh?"

Lavi look at Irma. She was chuckling awkwardly. Riri pull Lavi hand away from her. She immediately smiled big. Riri immediately put her sword away and hug Irma.

"Mother! H-How long have you been like this?!"

"Well for starter... It's going to come anytime now... It's really lively you know? It's boy too!"

"R-Really?! I'm going to have a little brother?!"

"Yes."

Riri smiled and look at Lavi.

"I'm going to have my own Lavi!"

Lavi immediately said.

"Watch your word Riri. I don't want you to get snatched by your little brother."

Elli immediately look to the side awkwardly. Lavi look at Charles and ask for a handshake.

"Let's do it properly Your Majesty. I'm Lavi Shireno Amidis. Thank you for letting me meet my Family."

"Haha. No worries Lavi. Charles Euriana."

They do a really manly handshakes.

"I've heard that you've engaged with your Sister. I won't ask what really happened but, I hope you both have a happy life."

"Thank you sir."

Elli said. Charles and Irma didn't even look weirded out from knowing Lavi and Elli engagement. In fact, He was actually supporting that Forbidden Relation. It's weird but, It's better for him to not get involved in Lavi matter.

"Anyway. Let's get to the topic."

Lavi said. Everyone sat down and Lavi explained things.

"So. Euriana and Labola. 10 Years of Non Aggression. Suddenly, They want to Assassinate you. From the Wound on your Neck. I can determined that it was an Arrow. Shot really far. At least 500 Meter. And the Arrow was supported by Wind Magic. Is that correct?"

Lavi asked. Everyone look at him like 'How did you know from that little information?' Charles nodded.

"How do you know?"

Charles asked. Lavi grinned.

"Your Majesty. I've went through so much battlefield in this young age okay? I know stuff. I know how wound looked like. And Assassination technique is my forte. Since I'm often get attack by an Assassin."

Lavi said. Gwen and Bianca can agree to that since they're Lavi comrades. They count that Lavi have got 400 Assassination Attempt. Both from human or demon. Each time, They try something different. But Lavi still survive that assassination because of his Aura Read.

"I see. You are someone really strong in this world. It's fair that you've get a lot of assassin sent after you."

"Yup. I know how you feel your Majesty. And that's why I will offer you this."

Lavi smiled. Charles look at Lavi like 'Go on.' They were waiting for Lavi to speak about his offer.

"I will sneak into the Labola Kingdom for you. I will gain all the information inside Labola and you can do whatever you want with it. You can attack them, You can try to negotiate with them again."

Lavi said. And then he added something.

"You see, My goal in the future is to develop World Peace. So if you want, I can join in on that Negotiation."

Lavi said. Charles immediately take Lavi offer.

"Let's do it Lavi. Let's Negotiate with them."

"Got you."

Lavi said. Both of them were grinning. Nick immediately stop them.

"Hold up! I'm the king okay? Lavi is still the prince. If you want to talk about that, talk with me Charles."

"Oh right! Sorry Nick."

Charles and Nick immediately speak about that.

"Buu... Put me in the conversation will you?"

Lavi said. He want to speak about this with the two kings. Since he knows that his Fiancee or Mother will smack him if he tries to speak politics with them.

The girls didn't really like Politics talk because, It's just boring for them. But for the guys who have the same mind which is peace. It's really interesting.

The thing about Lavi, He want to gain World Peace by force. While Charles and Nick want to gain World Peace by actually talking nicely with them.

"Listen Lavi. If you want to gain World Peace. You need to do it in a peace way. You can't say that you want world peace but then you destroy another country because they don't agree with you. It's wrong in this world."

Nick said. Lavi pouted and said.

"Yeah... I know that's wrong... But I just get pissed off when they didn't listen to me."

"That's where you lack boy."

Charles said. Getting called boy is quite weird by Lavi.

"Come to think of it. How can you put everyone in your party aligned with each other?"

Nick asked. Lavi immediately said.

"We was given the same task. Which is Killing the Demon Lord. And as a Leader. I need to make sure no one died. So I try my best to put everyone in a friendly state. And I don't know why, I can't do that with countries. Probably because they didn't really matter to me that much."

Lavi said. Charles and Nick sighed again. Lavi get the first point but, The second one is quite troubling.

"Listen."

Charles said. But before he get to say anything, Lavi found a way to bring everyone together.

"What about I make a world Leader Conference?! With that, I can convince them."

Nick and Charles look at each other. They smiled and said.

"That's a good idea."

Lavi clenched his fist and pose like 'Yeah! I did it!'

"But that's going to bring another problem. Not every country is in good term with each other. Just like Shireno and Razer. Euriana and Labola."

"That ain't matter. Shireno and Razer is at peace now. I've destroyed their Castle. They should bow to me now and listen."

Charles look at Nick and Lavi. Nick sighed and face palmed like 'That did happen huh... It didn't bring too much impact that I forgot.'

Charles sighed.

"Now I know why Shireno is deemed the strongest country. Anyway, we have Hollis on our side too. We should be fine with that right?"

Charles muttered. Lavi and Nick nodded.

"Well, Let's not do Lavi idea. As best as an Idea that is. It will bring controversies to everyone in the world."

Nick said. Lavi sighed. If they didn't want to do his plan, He have Plan B.

"Then, Let's do this. Around Euriana, Hollis and Shireno. We're surrounded by Mountain and Seas. In the east, We have a big Sea dividing us to the Smaller island and Kingdom. They're a peace country. They probably up for our plan. Up far north is Shireno. All that Winter Wonderland is Shireno. But then, Right to our East is Razer Kingdom. We destroyed them. So they will be up for Peace at this point. And right beside Hollis. There's a medium sized Kingdom. Klaros Kingdom. They're Beastman Country. They didn't like Conflict. They're probably up for peace."

Lavi said. Nick and Charles is writing that on their note.

"Klaros and Hollis was divided by this Great Rock Canyon. It's a great spot for calming yourself down. I've been there and it's absolutely beautiful."

Lavi said. Nick and Charles laughed. Lavi get side tracked by his memories.

"Anyway, Euriana and Labola. There's a Big Plains between two Countries. There's where Riri and I kill Blue Dragon that Charles requested. Speaking of which, Labola probably have some sort of tools that can control monster. It just my speculation. So don't take it too serious yet."

Nick and Charles replied with 'Okay' and they write that down as Important piece of information.

"And that's the country that surround us for now. We shouldn't be too worried with the Smaller Country yet because, They're in their own Civil War. It's stupid that they do that but, Let's not care about that now. We need to put the big country together first."

"Agreed. Hollis have the Biggest area out of us three. Followed by Euriana and Shireno. So we probably need Hollis Queen here."

Charles said. Lavi sighed.

"Well, I can always relay information to her. But first, Bianca?"

Lavi turn around and the woman isn't there anymore.

"If you're wondering where the woman goes, They're going to the prison for a bit."

"Really? Well, That's fine. I would love to talk about this with Bianca to ask about what she thinks but, She's not here."

Lavi said. Everyone look at the map again. Lavi mark the kingdom that surround them is going to be in an alliance.

"And I would like to have this one as our Ally too."

Lavi mark somewhere Middle west. It's a big Kingdom in the middle of the deserts

"Sandra Kingdom. Known as the Scorching Hell. Different from us entirely. But they're quite strong kingdom. There's something there I want called Sand Sabertooth. And Sandra Kingdom is the number one breeder in this world about Sand Sabertooth."

"Wait, Why did you want Sand Sabertooth?"

Nick asked.

"So, Sand Sabertooth have this special ability that allow them to summon Sandstorm. And Sand Sabertooth is invisible in that Ability."

"What are you going to use that for?"

Charles asked. Lavi smirked.

"Make a new Monster called Snow Sabertooth. You see, I want to try to make some sort of Hunting Animal that people in Shireno can use to help them hunt something like deer or some sort. Not only that. Sabertooth is hella cute!"

Lavi said. Charles and Nick was blown away by Lavi statement. Making a Monster? It's the first time they hear that word.

"Are you sure that's going to work Lavi? We have Snow Leopard."

"Snow Leopard is Hostile. While Sabertooth, Tend to be a little neutral. They are like a big Cat. Though, Leopard is cat too. But Sabertooth is easier to tame."

"I know that Sabertooth is tameable. But how are you going to make Sand Sabertooth into Snow Sabertooth? And is the Ability to make Sandstorm will change to Snowstorm?"

"Okay. The second question is yes. It will change to Snowstorm. And for the first question. I will genetically modified it. You see, All monster have a specific trait depending on where they are born. And if I could modified the trait of the Sabertooth, It will create a new version of that monster. After all, Sand Sabertooth is just a modified version of Normal Sabertooth that lives in Mountain."

Lavi said. Now Charles and Nick understand how Lavi plan to do that. But Nick, Didn't approve on Lavi idea.

"I still don't want you to do that Lavi. Modifying Genetic will only resulted in destruction. As cool as it might sound, There's a possibility that people will misuse that knowledge."

"I see... That's understandable. Well, There's goes my plan to see white Sabertooth. In the end Dad, I just want... Cats..."

Lavi said. Nick and Charles chuckled. But then, They bring the talk to the right way.

"Instead of doing that Lavi. We do agree that we should bring Sandra Kingdom as our alliance. They have a lot of resources of the Sand Sabertooth. If we can bring them in, We can then scooch over to the Smaller kingdom and make negotiation there. And if they rebel. Sand Sabertooth can just maul them over."

Charles said. Nick agreed. With that, Lavi agrees.

"Well then. We decline your idea of genetically modifying monster. But we agreed on your plan to make alliance with Sandra Kingdom. Are you happy with that Lavi? "

Nick asked. Lavi nodded.

"I'm happy."

"Great."

They talk for some more regarding their plan of Alliances. And now, Move to Riri. She was guided by the Guards to the Underground prison. Where some of the worse criminal live.

Some of them are charged with murders, rapes, and even an assassination attempt.

They saw Riri and try to harass her. And Riri make an example out of the criminals. The moment they try to talk dirty to her. Just as they open their mouth. Their head was split from their body.

That bring fear to everyone eyes. It's so gruesome that they didn't want that happening to them.

Riri walked inside the worse prison with all the prisoner looking really scared. Her sword is ready to kill them if they're trying something.

'Only Lavi can talk smack to me. If you try to talk smack to me. My sword will divide your head from your body.'

Riri thought. She lost her reasoning to kill people. If they're criminal. Since Lavi influence is quite big on her.

Riri reach the cell where the Assassin was hold. He was chained up to the wall. Riri look at her and release her true bloodlust.

"Are you the one who try to kill my Father?"

Riri asked. The Assassin look at her with fear. He nodded.

"Tell me. Are you from Labola Kingdom?"

He nodded again.

"Is there more than 1 Assassin sent here?"

He nodded. Suddenly, The Guards pull their weapon and try to attack Riri. Turns out, There's more than 1 Assassin. The guy that was chained look at them with hope.

Riri turn around and see 2 Giant axe swinging down. Riri immediately draw her sword.

'Glimmering Slice.'

The 2 Guard arms was sliced off. Riri kick them to the Cell. She sighed.

"So there's more huh. This is not fun."

Riri go out of the cells and let the two guards screamed their lungs off. Riri immediately pull something. It's a Crystal that connected to the top of the Prison.

"This is Riri Euriana Speaking. Bring medic to the Assassin Cell. There's 2 more Assassins that I caught. They're acting like a guard."

"Got it Her highness."

The real Guards immediately come down with some medic and they move the 2 fake Guards and chained them up on the other cells.

"I should ask Lavi to use his Aura read and kill them here."

Riri asked. That word is everyone nightmare. The guards immediately get nervous. Riri order everyone to go to the Training Ground.
