Trent POV  Damn. It's the first time she's ever laughed out loud, a real laugh. I watch the way her eyes press close, her cheeks curve, and her lips shift. The sound is fascinating—it immediately ruins every sound I will ever hear again.  I laughed along because I did not want her to stop. She has a pretty set of crystal white teeth and a tiny gap between her front teeth.  We exchange smiles, and the silence grows awkward. "Where are we starting from?" She asked, looking down at the concrete, her fingers laced together while picking at her nails. She must be nervous. "Prepare your foot. I will take you on the longest walk of your life." I announce it humorously.  She raises her eyes, smiling slightly, and nods her head, her curls wiggling in the process. We walk around Staten Islan
