The rain had drenched Royal already, so there was no point in running from it. Her clothes were soaked and she could feel the cold as it started to seep through her skin down to her bone. She had gone to the library to get some books, but she couldn't even see any of them. The librarian had promised to stock them up the next time she came and she had had to take a taxi back here. It was Cara that dropped her off at the library because she didn't think she needed to take her car since Cara was going that way. Only she didn't think that the rain was going to fall at all, or even this much this evening.
