She snapped open her eyes and widened them in surprise. She had been so sure that she was going to fall on her face, and she had told herself to stay right there and die out of the embarrassment, but this was a nice turn of events, only it wasn't what she had expected at all. The next feeling she felt was something unexpected from someone who had been about to make a mockery of herself. Instead of being embarrassed, she felt passion. The air in her lungs left in a sudden rush and it was followed instantly by her common sense of touch widely opened with an extra feeling for knowing things.
