They get a taxi to Cade’s place, which isn’t far from the gallery, but they agree it’s safer right now to not be walking the streets at night. There’s a lot of art on the walls, and canvases everywhere, some propped against walls, others on easels, all in different stages of completion. There’s paint, jars of brushes soaking in liquid, and a fair bit of artistic clutter.
