Hearing what his grandfather said, Blake emptied his teacup with one gulp. If he had known that Dani was here, he wouldn’t have come back no matter what.
“Take your time. It’s a waste of the quality tea to drink like that.”
Blake said with a smile, “I’m a rough man.”
Old Harvey shot him a glare and put his teacup away stingily.
After pausing for a while, Blake asked, “Grandpa, why are you suddenly back? Isn’t it comfortable living in the mountains?”
“You mother pleaded with me for a few days.” Old Harvey showed no intention to hide it from him, so he didn’t beat around the bush. “She asked me to persuade you to marry Dani as soon as possible.”
Blake sneered, his eyes turning cold. “Grandpa, you said you would let me make my own decisions about marriage.”
“I know.” Old Harvey lifted
