I shook my head having a feeling of relief and embarrassment, I had allowed my emotions to get over me.
I couldn't stop thinking of Alan, where could he be? and the unknown place Elias was also.
“You are thinking too much”, the doctor's words came to me again. I knew I needed to clear my mind and focus on the present.
“You are free to go back home ma, you are discharged”, a nurse said with a smiling face, she wore glasses and a white gown. “But remember don't overthink too much”, she said in a concerned voice
“Thank you so much”, I said, trying to give a fake smile. Stella was called to the doctor's office and she returned with a white bag that contained drugs and their prescriptions.
“Take ma, the doctor said I should give you, the prescriptions are written on it”, she said
