I look up and I see that I’m the one that is being referred to. Lo and behold it’s Lucy.
“I guess I am”. I reply to her.
“You aren’t even beautiful. I wonder what you did that made Alan marry you. What did he even see in you?”
“You will have to go and ask him that”.
I was tired of people trying to intimidate me. I wondered what her problem was and what sort of relationship she had with Alan.
“Lucy I think you should go back to your seat”. Amanda said to her
“Oh please, will you shut up. Mind your business you nerdy cow”. I was shocked that she insulted Amanda for trying to stand up for me.
“This isn’t far from over. Just watch your back”. Lucy tells me and then walk back to her seat.
“Don’t mind her”. Amanda tells me
“What’s her problem with me”.
“She is being jealous
