Me and Alan listened very attentively as Sarah narrated further. Her eyes, obviously, were red from the tears that she had been crying. She continued, even when her voice shook, resolved to deliver every piece of information.
"I could not believe what the doctor had done," she said, her voice cracking. "I felt so betrayed, so helpless. But I knew I had to keep fighting—for my baby's sake."
