ARIEL Me and Alan listened very attentively as Sarah narrated further. Her eyes, obviously, were red from the tears that she had been crying. She continued, even when her voice shook, resolved to deliver every piece of information. "I could not believe what the doctor had done," she said, her voice cracking. "I felt so betrayed, so helpless. But I knew I had to keep fighting—for my baby's sake." The words just poured out from her heart as she spoke of each painful moment. Her face was already drenched in perspiration and tears, but this did not stop her.
