FOURTEEN Time moved on, and Brigit couldn’t put off going to the shops any longer. The thought of trawling through the local shopping mall left her cold, but retail therapy might prove the order of the day after Chaise’s visit. So, she gathered together the few things she needed, the most important being her credit card, and made her way to the door.
