CHAPTER 10:Penelope’s Betrayal
He is lying on his bed in “Vardaris Hilton” as he jokingly calls this temporary habitat in his mind. The phone rings. He freezes. It’s Penelope! He stares at the displayed name on the screen and is scared to accept the call. His right shoulder is shaking nervously. He lets the phone ring twice more before he finally answers.
Penelope: “Hey Telemachus. How are you? Is everything all right?” Telemachus: “Very, thank you. Well, I mean well, thanks,” he stutters. Penelope: “I hope I’m not disturbing you?”
Telemachus grabs his phone nervously and is embarrassed by his funny stuttering.
Telemachus: “No, you don’t disturb me at all.”
Penelope: “I know we haven’t talked in a while but I want to see you today, as soon as possible. I need your help.”
