Green ninja stars made from concentrated energy flew across the training room and hit the wall.
Melissa had swiftly dodged before she counterattacked.
Crack!
As she moved her arm, yellow energy flowed throughout her whip, as if it was a flash of lightning in a stormy sky.
Before the whip could reach him, Jon flew and landed behind Melissa.
She quickly back kicked but missed.
Jon drew his sword as Melissa turned to face him.
Clang!
A high-pitched sound reverberated through the room when Melissa's lightning-like whip tangled with Jon's sword.
“Wow, Jon you have become so much stronger!" Melissa was shocked at how the spar had progressed.
Jon grinned, “You are not so bad yourself."
He untangled his sword from her whip and tried to move closer to Melissa.
