The Vampire's Bounty Hunter

In the chamber where Queen Liana stayed up waiting for her husband King Nathan to return. She heard a commotion from the other side of the door. "Who's there?" she asked. Just then, the door burst open. Queen Liana jumped out of bed, grabbed her sword, and sounded the alarm. In her room came mercenaries. "Get the jewels and anything else of value." one of them ordered. The Queen blocked them before they could get any further. She swung her sword and killed one of the intruders. "You will not take what doesn't belong to you!" she exclaimed. In the room, Liana fought bravely and valiantly, but in the end, there were too many for her to take down. She died from an arrow (made from a tree poisonous to vampires) to the heart. What the mercenaries didn't know was that the particular piece of jewelry they took from the Queen would have them hunted by vampires and other monsters for all eternity. Five Months Later After they buried Queen Liana, they started planning their revenge and the retrieval of their missing jewels and valuables. Their most important mission is that they can not fail or they will face banishment. For Matthew, it's the only thing on his mind the retrieval of the royal necklace. For his revenge, King Nathan tells his only son Matthew to go retrieve the necklace that holds the key to the royal blood's survival. Matthew assembled a small group of people to find the mercenaries that killed his mother and stole from them. They already found and killed eighteen of them and their family. All that was left was two and their family. When Matthew found the last two mercenaries he didn't hold back, he destroyed everything. He didn't kill the mercenaries, only his daughter. "Run away from here, child, get to a safe place. I will find you when you are older," he told her. "Why?" she asked. "You will understand when you are older," he said. "Okay," she replied. And with that, she ran and promised herself that she would become strong enough to kill the people who killed her family. The reason he let her go is because of the royal necklace around her neck. Since the necklace didn't reject her, it means that she is the official bride and mate of Matthew. "Let's get what we came for and get out," he ordered. Just as he was leaving, he came upon a secret door. He opened the door to find an arsenal full of gear for bounty hunters. Then he realized that he made a mistake by letting the little girl go. Her parents weren't regular mercenaries they were bounty hunters, and he let a bounty hunter in training getaway. He will find her no matter what it takes. He must find his mate before it's too late. Seven years later, at a bounty hunter training camp, the little girl that Matthew let go of is training to take him down. Her name is Kimberly Jones. She will train and keep training until she is strong enough to take down any supernatural person who becomes her bounty. In a few more years she can finally become a full-fledged hunter and take on the ones who killed her entire family. The question remains: How did her parents keep what they are a secret from their daughter? Were her parents just regular mercenaries or something else entirely? What else has her parents kept a secret from her? The Shadow's POV I just watched the queen die. These mercenaries meant business. Oh well sucks to be the king and prince right now. Just wait until I get my hands on the girl who gets that necklace. You, Prince Matthew, will be done, for I promise you that. I will take everything from you that was taken from me, and it will haunt you for the rest of eternity. I promise you that. After I get rid of the prince and his mate, the king is next. I won't want to miss his suffering either.
