The sun filtered through the sheer curtains of the room, glistening off the walls and casting shadows across the open area. Looking to my left, I smiled at the beautiful sight of my mate resting peacefully. I couldn't believe that I had finally completed the mate bond with the remarkable woman beside me. Clarissa was everything I had ever wanted in a woman and so much more. Now that the bond was completed, every ounce of uncertainty I had regarding her was gone.
