Anger. Remorse. Disgust. That was what I felt. Utter chaos was the world I was creating. The council had come and gone, and even though a week had passed, it didn't matter. The calls and letters coming in said it all. People were calling for my removal. I was sure that Melissa was the cause for a lot of the drama circulating me. Melissa, Antonio's ex-wife, seemed to thrive for attention. It was clear to anyone that all she cared about was being powerful, and she didn't like the fact that Antonio had moved on and she was no longer the center of attention.
