Cassandra looked at the three wolves warily, they all were still in their wolf form.
“They are our mates,” Raven said to Cassandra, indicating her happiness about finding her mates. But Cassandra knew better.
There was no point of celebration when she had little interest in the mating bond.
“I know Raven, but we need to protect ourselves first,” she said to Raven.
“But, they won’t harm us, they are our mates,” Raven said.
“So was Landon.” Cassandra retorted and this shut Raven up.
Raven was the one who had faith in Landon and she was the one who was betrayed so Cassandra thought it was better to warn her before she gets her hopes up.
