Not knowing how to react to the revelation, Ruth stares at Brian with a blank expression on her face, unable to believe why someone would want to do something so horrible to another person.
She was scared and a bit traumatized when her things had been stolen. She suffered thinking about how she was going to find the means to go to school and all along it was him.
