Kiara POV

"Are you ready? Girls are waiting in the room," Aubree said.

"Just a minute," I say pushing my hair back as I try to find the book.

"What ya searching for?"

"I can't find the book," I reply.

"The book Xaiden gave you?" She asked walking into the room.

"Yes, I remember keeping it on the nightstand."

"I think Ezarah took the book with her. She started reading it," Aubree said.

I stop searching, stand up properly from my bending position.

"She has the book, it's okay then."

I pick my phone and charger before following Aubree to the cottage room.

"So the boys went out?" I ask her.

"Yeah, they wanted to have the cottage room but too bad, I already spoke to dad last night. They went to talk with dad in the morning, dad said no. They all decided to go out," Aubree says.

"We have to tell Cyrus uncle before if we want to have the cottage room?" I ask as we take a turn.

"Yes, the cottage room is beautiful, Kia. If we don't inform the dad someone would've taken it. There are three cottage rooms in the back. One is occupied by Xavier uncle and Elora aunty, the second one is occupied by Lorenzo uncle and Zara aunty," she said as we step down the stairs.

"So they are going to stay in the cottage rooms all the week?" I ask.

"Nah, they will stay for three days then my parents, Dahlia aunty and Devin uncle will shift into the cottage."

"Oh okay."

"How many we will be staying in the cottage?" I ask.

"We will stay till the last day. The boys already used the cottage for two days. Ryder bhaiyya and Rowen doesn't want to stay in the cottage," she said.

Now we are walking towards the pathway from the main mansion to where the cottages are.

"Why?"

"They both are going to stay here for a week because of some business matters. So when we leave they will occupy the cottage.

"Hmm."

I look at the cottages, the three cottages are not sided by side. There are at least 50 meters of gap between one cottage to the other.

The last cottage on the left side is ours. Xahria is standing outside talking on a phone call. I wave my hand, she waves back.

"Whose on the call?" Aubree asked.

"Josephine," Xahria replied.

"Yeah, hi Josephine," Aubree said.

"Take it, he wants to talk with you." Xahria hands her phone to Aubree. I open the door and walk-in.

"Hellooooooo," Angel says as she is standing near the door.

"Hello, wassup?"

"Nothing, just thinking to watch a movie," she says handing me the milkshake.

"Thank you."

"No movies, I'm not going to watch a movie and waste our night," Xahria said walking into the room.

"True, call Ezarah out. She is reading the book continuously," Xahria said.

"I will call her," Aubree said.

I wander over to the sofa, sit down sipping the milkshake.

"Is it good? Kenric prepared the milkshakes," Xahria said looking at me.

"It is, do we have other milkshakes?" I ask her.

"There are seven in the fridge," Angel answered.

Ezarah walked out of the room with Aubree. "Helo," Ezarah said looking at me.

"Hello," I said.

She took the seat beside and I passed her the milkshake. "I'm done with the book, only ten pages left. I will give it in the morning."

"Yup, I only read around 30%," I tell her.

"I will get the milkshakes and snacks," Aubree said.

"Okay."

"Okay."

"What we gonna do now?" I ask the others.

"Let's play UNO."

"Where are the cards?" Xahria asked.

"They are in the red bag. You can get them," Aubree said.

"Yup."

Xahria wanders over to where the bag is. "Settle down on the floor."

We all settle down on the floor, I sit in between Angel and Ezarah.

Xahria's phone which is laying before we started ringing.

Nico's name popped up. "whose calling?"

"Nico."

Xahria handed the bag to Aubree and took her seat. She answered the call while last night's scene started playing in my mind.

I blink my eyes trying not to remember anything or mainly the kiss.

"Haha, we are in the cottage," Xahria said.

"No, we are having a girls night and she can't come," she tells looking at me.

"Ohoh..."

"I will give the phone to her, you talk to her," Xahria said handing the phone to me with a teasing smile on her face.

My brows in confusion and nervousness, I took the phone from her and held it to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hi."

I look at Aubree, Xahria and Angel who are looking at me.

"Yeah?"

"I... I want to take you on a long drive, can you skip the girls night and come out with me?" He asked.

"No, I mean... I want to be here," I said.

Aubree and Xahria looked at each other before laughing.

"Ugh... Come on, let's go on a long drive. I promise it would be worth it."

"Okay, go safe. Bye," I say before ending the call.

"So?" Aubree started.

"Nothing," I reply.

"Nothing? Surely he said something," she added.

"Haha, he asked her to join for something and she said no," Xahria said.

"And where is your phone?" She asked me.

"It's somewhere in the room," I tell her.

"So what happened last night?" Xahria asked.

"Where did you two go?"

I don't say a word, I just don't know what I should tell them. Just thinking about last night makes me shy.

"Ugh! She is ignoring us," Angel whined.

"Tell us Kia, where did you go with Nico bhaiyya? We all searched for you two but you two are nowhere to be found," Aubree said.

"Where did he took you to?"

"Did something happen between you two? Is that the reason you are not telling us?" Angel said slapping on my shoulder playfully.

"Nothing happened, he just took me on a long drive. Then we returned," I tell them.

My gaze went to Xahria who is looking at me with a serious expression. She must've read my mind or understood something as she started smiling.

"They did make out. That's why she isn't saying anything," Xahria said with a teasing smile.

"Oh... Oh..." Angel made a sound.

"No! We didn't," I say immediately.

"You can't hide the truths darling. It's written on your face, I got the answer to my question,"

"That's so embarrassing!" I said hiding my face with my hands. They all laughed at my shyness.

"Tell us... What happened?" Aubree asked pulling the hands off my face.

"Come tell us all the details, don't even think of skipping anything," Angel said.

"We went for a drive, it stopped raining so we got out and stood there enjoying the weather," I said.

"And...?" Angel asked.

"Ugh... And what we kissed," I said in a low voice. It is so embarrassing for me to say about my kiss.

"Only kissing? No touching?" Ezarah asked.

"Ezarah! You are still a kid," I say looking at Ezarah as she asked me that.

"So what? I'm going to college soon," she replied shrugging her shoulders.

"I can't wait to see Nico settling down!" Aubree said excitedly.

"Settling down? It was just a kiss," I tell them.

"Okay... Okay... It was just a kiss," Aubree said.

"Don't worry you will be the second one to settle down with Rowen," Xahria said making her blush.

"Nico will be the first one among us to break the chain," Angel said.

"It was meant to be him to break first," Ezarah said.

They are talking backing forth and my mind was filled with so many thoughts.

Am I really going to be with Nico? I pulled away from my seat and I saw Xahria was the one pulling me.

"Where we are going?" I asked her.

"The boys are watching a movie. Let's go and join them," she said.

"Join them? The boys are here?" I ask.

"Yes, they didn't go out and they set up the projector."

"Come on, everyone can't fit in this cottage. We need to go there," Aubree said as they stood up.

"But what about girls night?" I ask them.

"It's more fun watching a movie with them, come on. We will come back and have our girls night," Angel said.

"Okay."

I took my sweater, followed the girls out to where the boys are. Angel is saying something but I can't hear her properly.

"Careful," Xahria said holding my hand as we walked back to the mansion we are living in.

"Why is it so quiet here?" Angel said.

"Parents went out and the boys are in the movie room," Ezarah said.

"Everyone is out?" Angel asked.

"Yes, they are on a date."

"Nice."

We wandered upstairs to the left corner where the movie room is.

"They are using the guest room as a movie room," Xahria said.

Angel opened the door, she held the door open as we all entered the room.

"Close the door," Elwen yelled.

"Shut up, begin the movie from the beginning," Xahria said wandering over to where Xaiden sat.

My gaze met Nico's who is looking at me keenly. Xaiden paused the movie.

"Settle down," Kenric said.

"Oh, Nico. Didn't you go on a long drive?" Angel asked.

"Long drive? You were going on a long drive?" Kreo asked.

"Was," Nico replied.

Angel wandered over to where Elwen sat, Aubree sat in between Rowen and Ryder. Xahria beside kreo. Ezarah between Kai and Kenric.

Nico patted the place beside him. There was no option left, I padded towards there and plopped down beside him.

My gaze went to Xaiden who is sleeping on the floor on the corner.

"He was tired because of his training," Nico whispered when he saw me looking at Xaiden.

I nodded my head before watching the movie. The room is warm because of the heater and blankets.

After some time I turned my head to see that everyone are; Aubree and Rowen were cuddling. Ezarah leaned her head on her brother's shoulder. Ryder fell asleep on the carpet.

Kai shifted his place to where Angel is. He has his head on her lap. Xahria and Kreo are sharing the popcorn while watching the movie.

I shifted in Nico's arms which are wrapped around me. We are cuddling. Nico wrapped the blanket around us. A small yawn left my mouth.

I got comfortable in his arms, leaning my head against his chest. I couldn't watch the movie anymore as I felt my eyelids heavy.

I slept peacefully as Nico started stroking my hair. It felt weirdly good being in his arms.

I don't have any problem being close with him as I started feeling something which I don't wanna accept yet.

We all slept on the carpet, with thick blankets. Nico and I were a tangled mess but thankfully we had a blanket over us. I blushed when I realised that.

I looked at Elwen who is scolding Aubree for being late. We all decided to go sightseeing.

Nico, I, Angel, Kai, Kreo and Kenric are in one car. Elwen, Ryder, Aubree, Rowen, Xaiden, Xahria and Ezarah are in another car.

Nico is driving while I took the fore seat. Angel and Kai sat in the second row while Kenric and Kreo sat in the back.

We decided to go to Barcelona. I'm excited though, I mean I never thought that I would roam cities and meet these people but here I am.

"What's happening between you both? You guys fought again?" Kenric asked looking at Kai and Angel.

Kai shrugged his shoulders ignoring Kenric's comment while Angel didn't care to reply.

"They always fight for something or the other but couldn't stay away from each other," Kreo commented which made Kenric and Nico laugh.

"True man! I don't understand their chemistry," Kenric said.

"How would you understand because nothing is going on between him and me," Angel hissed looking at Kenric.

Kai glared at Angel but she didn't care. I looked at Nico with the whats-happening-between-them look.

He made an I-don't-have-any-idea face.

"Chill woman, you don't have to give me that dead look," Kenric said raising his hands in defeat.

"Brother you better man up and say sorry to your girl man! I don't want her to beat the s**t out of us by the end of the day," Kenric told to Kai.

"You don't have to advise me. And she isn't my girl, my girl is Jasmine if you don't remember," Kai replied to Kenric.

Everything went silent, I looked Angel through the rare window and saw her looking out of the window.

"I'm not his girl, don't ever mention it," Angel said in an angry tone.

"Okay... Okay... I won't," Kenric replied.

"Why do you always butt in?" Kai glared at Kenric.

Both the brothers started fighting about other things while kreo supported Kenric.

"Bro, you are being too serious right now," Kreo said.

I looked at Nico asking him what happened between Angel and Kai. He shrugged his shoulders down saying he don't know.

Nico took a U-turn while the cold silence went away.

I listened to their fight slightly laughing as I remembered my brother.

"Are you guys going to shut up or not? I'm getting a headache!" Angel yelled at both the brothers.

"He started it," Kai said.

"Nico stop the car, I'm sure Elwen will be happy to join us in this car. Kai will shift to that car," Angel said.

"No, I'm not shifting to that car. If you want you can," Kai told to Angel.

"Then sit quietly, I don't wanna hear you guys fight. Why would I shift you two are making fuse," she said sternly looking at Kai.

"When did our little Angel turned this furious?" Kreo asked.

"You have to see her before man, she threw things at me when we fight," Kai said.

"Then it would be damn funny to watch these two fight when they get married," Kenric said even though we know Kai is seeing a girl named Jasmine.

We saw her but we didn't meet her yet. Angel said even though she doesn't like the idea of Kai dating someone, the girl is sweet and humble.

"You aren't allowed in our house," Kai said at the same time Angel said: "I'm not going to marry this bastard."

I blinked my eyes looking at Nico while he is trying hard not to laugh. Kai is scowling at Angel while she is glaring at him back.

"So...You guys are going to marry or not?" Kreo asked.

"NO!"

"No!"

"Then why did you say you aren't allowed in our house?" Kenric asked Kai.

"I meant our home but a home where she and I live," Kai said.

"Then why did you glared at Angel?" Kreo asked.

"Because she called me a bastard," Kai replied.

"Okay...Okay...Stop it here, we will see that in future. Don't argue right now," Nico said knowing clearly if we didn't put a full stop they will be fighting their heads off.
