Kiara POV

We returned home, I'm happy and there is a peaceful smile on my face.

I turn my head as Nico started humming a song while he typed on his phone. We are walking side by side.

I would be lying if I say I didn't enjoy his company. I enjoyed his company as much as I enjoyed the company of others.

"Everyone in the living room," Nico said. I look at him as he gave me a teasing smile before wandering inside.

My brows frowned in confusion as followed him inside.

Aubree and Xahria raised their brows in surprise as they looked at Nico and me. Elora aunty looked at us with curious eyes.

"Hey mum, wassup?" Nico greeted walking over to where Elora aunty sat.

“Hi everyone," I say sitting beside xahria.

"Hey."

"Hi."

"We were just hanging out," Elora aunty said.

"Nico and you went out?" Elora aunty asked.

"Yes, she was alone in the house and you all were out. I was going out and I asked her to join me," Nico replied.

“Did you two eat?” Elora aunty asked as Nico placed his head on aunty's lap.

“Yes, mama. We eat before returning home and you?” Nico replied.

I watched as he made himself comfortable and aunty started massaging his head.

“Were you guys went?” Xahria whisper asked me so that only I can hear.

“To meet his teachers,” I replied.

“Chris and Camilla?” she asked.

“Yes, Chris and Camilla.”

“Oh... oh..” I looked at her weirdly.

"Where did you two went?" Aunty asked. I look up at him.

"We went to meet Chris sir and Camilla ma'am. They look the same, they are going on a vacation," Nico replied.

"You should've told me. I was planning to send them gifts," aunty said. Aubree handed me the fruit bowl.

"Thanks." I pick a strawberry from the bowl and eat it.

"Don't worry mum, I gave gifts from your side too."

"Where they are going on a vacation?" Aubree asked.

"Greece."

"Awe, Camilla ma'am loves Greece," Aubree said.

"Yes." Nico smiled at her.

"Pass the bowl to me," he asked her. Aubree passed the bowl to him.

“Where are Kreo and others? I haven't seen them nor they are replying to my messages,” Nico asked Aubree and Xahria.

“They went for a weekend trip. You didn't check their w******p status?" Xahria said.

“Oh, another trek?”

"Yup, this time Kenric selected the trek," Aubree said.

"They should've asked me, I would've joined them," Nico said.

"Haha... They did but you didn't respond to their calls. Then Ryder bhaiyya (brother) said not to call you as you are busy helping him," Aubree said and Nico made a face.

"You two returned? Where did you two go?" Xavier uncle asked entering the room.

"They went to meet Chris and Camilla," aunty replied.

"Oh okay." Xavier uncle sat beside Elora aunty.

"Tomorrow, let's go out. A new movie released," Aubree said looking at Xahria and me.

"Sure," I reply.

"Yup."

We spoke, it was mostly Elora aunty, Aubree and Xavier uncle who spoke while Xahria spoke when needed. Nico and I stayed audience listening to their conversation.

“I will be going home, I told my old man that I will be back by eight,” Aubree said getting up.

“Don’t let Cyrus listen to that,” Xavier uncle joked.

“Xavier uncle even Xahria calls you like an old man before my dad,” Aubree said making everyone laugh.

"Seriously?" Uncle asked looking at Xahria.

"Sometimes dad, you know I love you," Xahria replied.

“I'm not old... At least not to your mom," Xavier uncle said.

“Oh, honey... To me, you are always my handsome man, who age like fine wine,” Elora aunty replied kissing Xavier uncle on the cheek.

I smiled looking at my fingers, I miss my parents when I see aunty and uncle. Their love and affection always remind me of my parents.

I look up, my gaze meets Nico's who is already looking at me. He smiles, I smile back.

"We will walk you home," Xavier uncle said standing up.

"I will walk her home dad, you and mum rest," Nico said getting up.

"Nah, we will go on a short walk," Elora aunty said.

"Hmm okay."

Xavier uncle and Elora aunty left with Aubree.

"I will go and work on my assignments if I want to enjoy the weekend," Xahria said holding the empty bowl.

"See you two in the morning," she added.

"Good night," I tell her.

"Good night."

I don't have anything to do here as everyone left except Nico. He is looking at the television screen as the outlander is playing.

I glance at him for a minute before standing up gaining his attention.

“Good night,” I said.

“Good night,” he said smiling. I nodded my head before going upstairs.

Nikolai is a handsome man for sure and his nature and behaviour are like a cherry on top.

I entered my room and closed the door behind me, made a beeline towards the bathroom.

I asked Xahria about the dance room. She said there is a separate room and it is soundproof.

I asked her dance schedule so that I can use it whenever the room is empty.

Back home, I used to dance practice every Sunday morning. I'm not much of a gym person so Kathak keeps my body in shape.

Xahria made a few changes to her schedule and told me that I can use the room on Sundays.

I changed into comfy clothes, watched a Bollywood movie then thought of Nico even if I didn't want to.

I hummed to the song as I wore my simple white and peach colour Anarkali.

I braided my hair, picked my phone and the small bag that consists of a water bottle and ghungroo.

"Perfect."

I step out of my room, wander towards the dance rook that is on the same floor.

It was previously used by Elora aunty but then they converted it into a big dance room.

I was startled when I first saw how big the room is. There is a mirror wall, it was like a professional dance studio.

On Sundays, no one wakes up early. It's a lazy and rest day. I open the door and close it behind.

I pull my phone out, connect to the speakers. I tied my ghungroo, hummed to the song. I started with basis then I started dancing forgetting everything.

Two hours passed when I finally stopped. I smile brightly looking at my sweaty face in the mirror.

I wander over to where my bag is. I sit down on the floor, wait for some time before drinking the water.

My stomach starts growling, "need some food but the first shower," I tell myself standing up.

I remove the ghungroo, place them in my bag along with the water bottle. I pick the bag and go to the phone connector.

I remove my phone, turn off the electricity in the room before stepping out of the room.

I started walking towards my room when my phone started ringing. I was trying to find my phone in the bag that I didn't see the person standing before me.

I bumped into them, I looked up to see Nico. I immediately took a step back making space.

I checked him out, he is wearing his sports attire and holding a small duffle bag.

"Hi," I said. He didn't say anything as he was busy looking at my attire. I cleared my throat snapping him from the trace.

He blinked his eyes "did you go somewhere?"

"I was in the dance room," I reply.

"Ohh."

We both stayed quiet looking at each other. Before I could feel any weird feelings, I looked away.

"I will go now, I need to take a shower," I said stepping aside. He nodded his head.

"Yup."

I started walking away but heard him murmur to himself "she is pretty."

My brows frown but I shake my head. "Don't think about it."

After taking a shower I dressed in a brown t-shirt and sweatpants. My stomach growls, I immediately went to the dining room.

Xahria was already there eating her breakfast. As soon as she saw me she smiled and patted the seat beside her.

"Good morning."

"Good morning," I say. I took the seat just then Elora aunty walked out with the huge dish.

"Good morning Kiara, I hope you like sabudana khichdi," she said.

"Good morning aunty, I love it," I said.

"Help yourself," she said to me and Xahria.

I filled my plate and xahria did the same. I started eating it, it is tasty.

"Delicious aunty." She smiled.

I didn't see Xavier uncle. "Where is uncle?" I asked Xahria.

"Dad has some meeting, he had to leave early," Xahria replied.

Nico entered the room sweating, he went for a run I guess.

"Didn't you say that you were going to the gym?" Xahria asked him.

"Nah, there isn't no one and I don't want to lift weights alone."

"Nico go and take shower first," Elora aunty said.

"No mom, I'm starving," he said.

He walked towards where I sat and took the seat beside me.

"Go and take a shower, you sweat and stink," I said. He smirked before brushing his arm to mine.

"Eww!" I said removing my arm.

"Gross!" Xahria said making a face.

Elora aunty shook her head serving his plate. I was taking a sip of my water and he stole a spoonful of my breakfast.

"Elora aunty served your plate, why steal mine?" I asked scowling because he used my spoon.

"Stealing yours tastes good," he said putting his chin on his palm.

I looked away not wanting to fight with him when Xahria and Elora are in the same room.

"What you guys gonna do today?" Flora aunty asked.

"We thought of going to movies but got cancelled," Xahria said.

"You guys can come with me to John's house party," Elora aunty said.

"Is Aubree and others are coming?" Xahria asked.

"Everyone is coming even your dad will be joining. That's why your movie plan got cancelled," Elora aunty said.

"We will come then," Xahria said.

"Be ready by eleven then, what about you Nico?" Elora aunty asked.

"I will join," he replied eating his food.

"And don't flirt with those girls Nico, I'm not interested in dealing with their mom's about marriage proposals," Elora aunty said sternly to Nico.

"Mom! I don't flirt with them, they just tend to flirt with me," He answered.

"Wear a wedding ring, if they try to flirt with you or tell them you have a girlfriend," Xahria said.

"Haha." he glared at Xahria for giving him a stupid idea.
