Kiara POV

"What's happening between you and my brother?" Xahria asked me.

"Nothing," I replied. Xahira and Aubree share a look before they both look at me.

"Oh come on, we saw you guys holding hands," Xahria said. It happened five days ago.

"Don't forget that he pulled her wherever he went. He didn't allow her to leave his side," Aubree added.

"He had a scowling face when Greg sat beside you," Angel said laughing.

"Yeah, Nico didn't like the idea of Greg sitting beside her. I thought something was going on between these two," Aubree said.

"Nothing is going on, you girls are imagining," I say blankly looking at them.

"Maybe... Maybe not... But we saw the tension between you two. Did something happened?" Angel asked.

"Not you too, nothing happened. He just behaved weirdly and he wanted me to be with him, that's it," I explain.

"Maybe my brother got a crush on Kiara and he couldn't keep his hands to himself," Xahria said eating her pasta.

"Yeah... True, maybe Nico likes Kiara," Aubree said.

"He sure likes her, I have seen him glance at her many times. Didn't you girls notice this before?" Angel asked Xahria, Aubree and Ezarah.

"Nope, they always fought," Xahria replied.

"Yes, Nico always teased her and stole her food. So we didn't think that he has a crush on Kiara," Aubree said.

"Haha... Nico never teased anyone nor he was playful. He was always calm and welcoming. If he was playful with Kiara, then he might have liked her from first sight," Angel said.

Ezarah stayed quiet listening to the conversation while the other three gossiped as if I'm not in the same room.

"Stop it," I say covering my face with a pillow.

They have been teasing me all day about Nico holding my hand. I completely ignored Nico.

Even when he tried to talk to me, I ignored him.

"It's clear that Nico is smitten by you. Don't worry, we are not teasing you. We are teasing Nico," Xahria said and everyone laughed.

"Then you should say those things to him, not to me," I say.

"And it's not like that, I don't think he has a crush on me. It's," I add.

"Then how it is?" Aubree asked.

I growled while they laughed. "Even Elora aunty and our parents saw it," Angel said.

My eyes widen in horror, I didn't know that everyone was observing us.

"Did they say anything?" I ask them.

"Calm down, our parents aren't strict ones. They were happy but they won't ask you or say a word. They give us privacy on our love interests. So don't worry, they will only take it for granted when you two inform them," Xahria said.

"I think Nico is the first one to break the barrier," Ezarah who was silent all this time said.

"Barrier? What barrier?" I asked her.

"Bachelor barrier," Angel said. I frowned at that.

"There's nothing between me and your brother. Anyway, he will be going back in two days," I argued.

"I bet my pocket money, he is going to stay back," Aubree said.

"Me too," Angel said.

The four watch my face while I massage my head. I don't know how to tell them that it's a misunderstanding.

"Kiara... We were just teasing you. Don't strain yourself. Even if Nico likes you or not, it's you who should decide if you want to like him or not," Xahria said placing her hand on my shoulder.

"We will not open this topic until unless you talk about it," Xahria added.

"I apologise if we made you uncomfortable."

"Sorry, Kiara..."

"No... No... Don't apologise. Just don't bring it up," I tell them.

"Yup."

"Yup."

"Yup."

"Can we go out and enjoy ourselves. I don't wanna be here," I said.

"Yeah, we can go to the nightclub. It's been a long time," Angel suggested.

"That's a good idea. We didn't go to the club in a long while," Aubree said.

"Yes."

"Sure!" We all agreed but I don't know about Ezarah.

"What about Ezarah?" I asked.

"Don't worry, we have access to all the club's," she said.

"How?" I ask in confusion.

"We own pubs and nightclubs here. We get access to all the club's that are run by our families," she replied standing up. That explained.

"But we don't drink though, we aren't 21 yet," Xahria said.

"We go there to loosen up and to dance," Aubree said.

"How long we will be staying?"

"We will go now and come back in two or three hours," Aubree said.

"Let's go and get ready. You three select any dress from my wardrobe," Xahria said standing up.

"You can wear anything from mine too," I say.

"I will choose something from Kiara's," Ezarah said.

"I have your dresses," Xahria said to Aubree.

"I will choose from Xahria's," Angel said.

I glance at the people who are dancing on the floor without any care.

We ordered some fruit punch and food. We are sitting in the VIP lounge. I can see everyone from here. The pub is filled with people, I like the vibes here.

"I miss my twin," Angel said all of sudden with a pout.

"Yeah, we too miss him. Is he even gonna show up or not?" Aubree asked.

"No man, he won't be returning from another three years," she said sadly.

"I don't understand why our brothers choose to be far away from home," Xahria said.

"You guys never been away?" I asked them.

"Nope! We all used to be together. Even our houses are a few blocks away. We all went to the same school. When they grew up they choose to live away" Aubree said sadly.

"Ohh."

"What about you Kiara?" Angel asked. I sip my fruit punch.

"I don't have many friends but I'm very close to my brother and other cousins. This is my very first time that I'm away from my family," I said smiling sadly. Even though I like here I miss my family.

"My mom told me that Rowen is coming back. She already misses Camryn and she doesn't want Rowen staying away," Angel said.

"I don't know if my brother ever comes back or not," Aubree said eating her food.

"Let's stop talking, let us go and dance!" Xahria said standing up.

We all stood up keeping our belongings here. Xahria told me that no one is allowed here except for them and their parents.

Some trance was playing and it was good. We started dancing to the rhythm. Ezarah looked like a college-going student.

I felt happy while dancing with everyone. My eyes were closed but I opened them when I felt someone catching my wrist.

I saw Nico looking at me. I tried to remove his hand but he tightens. He moved closer to me. "What you girls doing here?"

"Can't you see? Dancing."

"Let's go," he said pulling me away from the dance floor. I turned back to see all the girls are walking to the lounge.

I climbed the steps while Nico walked behind me. I sat down on the sofa beside Angel. Kai glared at Angel while she ignored him.

"Why you girls are here all alone?" Nico asked.

"We told mom," Xahria said.

"Dad... Did you tell him?" he asked which made Xahria glare at him.

"What were you doing down there?" Kai asked Angel.

"None of your business," she hissed at him.

"Don't you have your exams in a week?" Kreo asked Ezarah.

"Yes, I have," she said.

"Then what are doing here?" he asked.

"Having fun, I was all bored with the books," she said. He nodded his head. We weren't involved with any guys. We danced separately, only us.

I snapped my head sideways when I felt Nico's gaze on me. I raised my brow when he just looked at me sipping his drink.

"You dance good," his voice low.

"I know," I said smugly making him chuckle.

"Inform someone or take one of the boys with you from next time," Elwen said.

"Leave my sister alone Kai," Elwen said getting a slap on his shoulder by Kai.

"I was just worried about her," Kai said.

"Worry? My a*s," Angel mumbled to herself but we heard it. Kai looked furious as Angel kept ignoring him.

"You wanna dance with me?" Nico asked me. I don't have any reason to ignore the request and I want to dance with someone.

"Hmm... Let's go." I stood up.
