Chapter One - Final Year

Amethyst Martinez I was groaning, didn’t know where to turn my head when this man I tried to seduce in the bar I am in right now took me to a cubicle inside the toilet room. He does not know how to kiss, it was disappointing. This man was lucky he is handsome or else I am out of here. I tilted my head to give him more access to my neck because he was turning me on by sucking and licking my neck. Huh, at least he was good at that. “Oh god, this f*****g ass.” I heard him curse after undressing me below and took me. He was thrusting in and out as if he was thirsty for more. “A-Ah!” I moaned because of the pleasure I was having. It didn’t take him long until he pulled out his thing out of me and let me suck him. That was too quick, I didn’t even feel my climax. I mentally sighed and continued sucking him while he was moaning in desire. He groaned loudly after he released everything in my mouth, which I swallowed until he was clean. It tasted too sour, making me feel icky. While we were both picking our clothes to get dressed, he leaned in as if he was going to kiss my forehead so I immediately moved away. “Woah, bro, what do you think you are doing?” I arched my eyebrows after composing myself, “We just f****d, and you think we could cuddle now?” He looked taken aback by what I said, “Y-You gave me your number a while ago, I thought this would continue.” “Aren’t we going to see each other again?” he asked. A bit of hope lingered in his eyes that almost disgusted me. “We can go to dinner and you know—sorry, that was only a one-time thing because you were my target a while ago. Right now, I am bored with you.” I cut him off before shaking my head. I left him there dumbfounded. I took out my phone to call my friend, who I don’t see anywhere around the bar anymore. Damn, we still have class tomorrow. “Alyssa Calderon! Where the hell are you, we are going home right now!” I screamed on the other line when she answered. [U-Uh, she’s asleep, I am taking her home.] Someone said on the other line, which forced me to squint my eyes. “Who are you? Make sure you take her home or I’ll find you.” I gritted my teeth. I took my eyes on her for a second—err..minutes and she was taken away by someone? Alyssa is too special to me, she is my childhood best friend. She has been there through thick and thin. She mattered to me. [Nash Audine is my name. She is safe with me, I promise that.] With that, he ended the call. Who the hell was that? Aly hadn’t mentioned any names like that before. That girl, she needs to tell me all the details when she comes back! She is like the only saint in our group! “Someone’s getting bored.” Lara laughed when she found me in the wild crowd. She is one of my friends too, we met in our last year in high school and she became part of our small circle. Alyssa, Lara, and I have been inseparable since we started as freshmen. I can’t believe we are graduating students this year even though we are almost partying every week. “Is it that obvious? I was disappointed with what I experienced there a while ago.” I grumpily stated. She chuckled before chugging her last glass, “Should we go home now? Oh, I saw Aly being taken away by someone.” “Don’t remind me, let’s just go home and wish she would be back in the condo safely by tomorrow,” I told her before letting her drive us home. I bid her goodbye after she dropped me off because she lives in a different condo place due to her family’s influence. They’re family hotel owners, you could say she is that wealthy compared to us. Honestly, I have always wondered why she decided to stay friends with us. When she continued hanging out with us, it became clear that she might have seen through the other students who were only interested in her because of her family’s money. She probably figured out that they were just using her. I loved that she valued our friendship more—because she didn’t have to worry about that pretense with us. Alyssa and I are sharing a condo unit. Her family was generous enough to let me live with her as no one would support me in these kinds of things. My mom and I have always not been on good terms. I hated the way she decided how her life would be. She’s not always around the house, she is out doing strange things to help her earn money. She got pregnant by some foreigner who left her for good. I haven’t met my dad, nor have any plans on doing so. The fruit of it? Is me of course. I was fortunate enough to have a good number of brain cells working for me, which helped me earn a scholarship. This scholarship was just enough to cover my studies and allowance at our prestigious college. As I entered the building, I made a beeline for the elevator. Just in time, I slipped through the sliding doors before they closed. “Made it,” I sighed with relief, then took a moment to compose myself. I turned to my right and noticed a tall man standing on the left side of the elevator. He was wearing a black cap and had a plastic bag of groceries hanging from his left hand. I squinted at the elevator buttons and saw that the penthouse button was glowing brightly. My eyes widened in surprise. This man must be wealthy. Despite the glaring evidence of his affluence, I decided to push that thought aside. I reached out and pressed the button for the 14th floor instead. The soft hum of the elevator machinery filled my ears, and a deep, immense silence enveloped us. It was a silence that seemed to stretch on endlessly. When the floor got to the 13th floor, I heard someone attractively chuckle. I almost got creeped out, but I realized it was the man standing right next to me. As the elevator gave a gentle hum, signaling that we had arrived on the 14th floor, I heard him speak. “Sorry, but I think you should know. Your lipstick,” he said, his voice warm and slightly amused, “is smudged.” I narrowed my eyes at him, trying to ignore his comment. My mind was racing, and I didn't want to deal with any more distractions. I quickly stepped out of the elevator before the doors could close and glanced back. To my surprise, he was smiling at me, his eyes sparkling with a kind of charm that made my heart skip a beat. Once the elevator doors had fully closed and the elevator began its ascent, I found myself blinking rapidly, trying to process what had just happened. I couldn’t help but mutter under my breath, “He was so freaking handsome!” The next day rolled in slowly, and I woke up with a throbbing headache that felt almost like an old friend by now. I dragged myself out of bed and made my way to the kitchen to whip up a hangover soup—something I’ve learned to do for myself over the years. Aly was still not home, and I shot her another text, hoping to hear back from her soon. That girl! She’s going to get an earful from me when she finally shows up! Once I started feeling human again, I shuffled into the bathroom for a much-needed bath. The warm water was a welcome relief as I began to feel more like myself. After my bath, I pulled on my clothes and got ready for school. I walked over to the large mirror to check my appearance. I ironed my pencil skirt with my hands, smoothing out the wrinkles as best as I could. Then I adjusted the scarf around my neck, making sure it was just right. My eyes were a gentle shade of gray that blended effortlessly with the tone of my skin. My hair was a rich, hazelnut brown, flowing in a cascade down to the back of my hips. But right now, it’s meticulously tied into a neat bun, every strand perfectly in place. This is needed in my course, we have a task today about customer service skills. Our professor has to grade us by our greetings, stance, and everything that makes us a proper flight attendant. It was a good thing I was done with our internship, now I just have to focus on the remaining units I have, especially research. I took a cab to go to school, cursing internally since it almost cost me most of my savings for a week. I just can’t commute in this kind of uniform, I always get strange eyes on me if I take the bus. Disgusting strange looks from men to be exact. When I arrived at the school, I saw Aly there pacing back and forth as if she was waiting for someone. She was already dressed in her uniform. What the heck did I miss? She got a freaking boyfriend now?! How did she have clothes with that man who took her home? “Alyssa Calderon! You left last night with a man!” I raised my tone, making her flinch before looking at me. At least she had this sorry look on her face. She immediately approached me before pouting, her hands clasped against each other. “I-I am sorry! Let me explain at lunch okay?” I rolled my eyes, “You better! And you owe me a nice long story with a frappucino and butter croissant.” She let out a soft chuckle at my request, her lips curling into a teasing smile as she bit her lower lip. Her eyes shifted quickly behind me, a hint of desire and amusement in their gleam. I turned around, curious about what had caught her attention. As I blinked several times, trying to make sense of the scene before me, I saw them: three tall men standing there. Their presence was striking. They were incredibly handsome, with an effortless charm that seemed to make the air around them shimmer. Each of them had a confident, almost magnetic aura, and I couldn’t help but feel a little breathless at the sight. How come I missed these kinds of people at school? And they were from the aviation department, judging by their uniforms. “Alyssa!” The man with dimples called while waving his hands. The one who had brown eyes and disheveled hair on the left yawned and the most attractive man who was standing in the middle was staring at me intently. To be continued…
