2 days later, "Ohh myy God doll, what did you do with your closet?" Shweta said as soon as she opened her closet. Myra looked at her and gave her a sheepish smile, and Shweta glared at her in return. "Doll, you have to clean up all the mess," Shweta exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise. "Not today, Mom, I'm going out with friends," Myra explained. Myra broke down in tears. "Mom please" she said like a baby while pouting. "No doll, you have to clean all this and it's final," Shweta said sternly. Myra said and stood up, wiping her fake tears, making Shweta chuckle. "Accha listen, doll, me and your dad are going out to one of his friends' houses. We will come back soon. Take care of yourself and Rishabh," Shweta said, and she nodded obediently. They left after some time. We could hear the loud songs bursting on the music system. Ohh yeah, it's Myra. She is cleaning her closet while singing loudly. Her phone rang, which she didn't care about and did her work. After she was done with her work, she turned off the music system and lay down on the bed. "Proud of you, Myra Reddy," she said to herself and patted her shoulder. Her phone rang again, making her groan in frustration. Myra's POV.. Why does everyone love to call me? I took my phone from the side table and checked the number. It was my dad's call. "Sure, dad,"I asked as i picked the call.. "Hello Miss, actually it's not your dad. He had an accident and he is unconscious and the lady with him is also unconscious. I am taking them to XYZ hospital. Please come there as soon as possible." said the person and cut the callm I simply rooted at my location. It's a dream, right? No way, it's a nightmare, a f*****g nightmare. You can't cry Myra..! You won't cry!! They will be fine. I stood up, wiping my tears harshly, and went to Rishabh's room. "Rishabh" is what I called stepping inside his room. "Yes, Diii," he said, looking at me. "Mom and dad," I mumbled, unable to form a coherent sentence. "Yes, I know mom and dad went to John's uncle's house," he said casually. "They were in an accident," I explained as I dashed to my room to retrieve my car keys and phone.I took my cards and some cash also. "Diii, what are you saying? "Are you kidding me right?" he asked, shocked. Rishabh, do you really think I am kidding? If yes, then go and f**k yourself. I don't have time right now. "I shouted at him and went out, and he came running behind me. I sat on the passenger seat and he sat on the driver's seat. I drove to the hospital as fast as I could. I straightly ran to the hospital's reception.. "Yes, how can I help you?" The receptionist asked. "Mr. and Mrs. Reddy, they were in an accident," I inquired. "Ohh yeah, the new case has just entered. The man is in the operation theatre. His condition is critical. And about the lady, she is fine. She is in room no. 302, but you can't meet her now. She is unconscious." I nodded, wiping my tears. I ran towards the operation theatre and found a man standing outside. I went to him and thanked him. After that, he left. I sat there with Rishabh... "Diii mom dad!" Rishabh cried.. "Baccha, stop crying. They will be fine OK." I said, wiping his tears, but he cried more. No, Myra, control yourself. You can't cry. "Rish, I said stop crying." I said sternly.. He looked at me and then hugged me tightly.. "Ssshh baby, stop crying, they're fighters, baby, they'll be fine soon," I said as I stroked his back. "Unhe kuch hoga toh nahi na (nothing will happen to them, right?)" he asked, looking at me like a baby. "Of course not, baby," I said, wiping away his tears. Just then, One nurse came out, "How's he now?" I asked hastily. "We can't say anything right now because his condition is getting worse with each passing second," the nurse said and left. My phone began to ring as I sat there silently holding my head. I took my phone and checked the number. It's from Mihika Aunty. "Is everything fine, Myra? "Why weren't you picking up our calls?" she asked. "Mom, dad met in an accident," I said in my broken voice. "What? "Where are you now?" she asked in concern. "I am in XYZ hospital," I replied. "We are coming there, Baby, don't take tension, everything will be fine," she said and hung up the call. __________________________ Zain's POV "Diya, stop disturbing me," I said, glaring at her... She smiled and came running behind me. I threw a cushion on her and her eyes widened in shock. "Hawwww very bad bhai." She took the other pillow and threw it on me. "You are so gone, Diya." I threw another one at her and she made a grumpy pout. "Diya Zain" mom dashed into my room, her face tense. "What happened, mom?" I asked her. "Myra's mom and dad met in an accident," she said, making us shocked. ___________________ Zain's pov We walked towards the operation theatre to find Myra sitting there on the bench, palming her face, and Rishabh was sitting beside her, resting his head on her shoulder. "Myra," as her mother referred to her. She looked at Mom and that's the first time I saw tears in her eyes. The thing was that I did not like the fact that she was crying. "Tell me what happened, Baccha," mom said, wiping away her tears. "They went to one of dad's friends' houses, then suddenly I got a call that they had met with an accident," she said in her broken voice. "Mom is still unconscious, no one is letting us meet her and dad is in the operating theatre," she said. "Stop crying, Myra, they'll be fine," dad said as he patted her on the head. "Hey Champ, you're strong, and so are your parents; they'll be fine. OK now, be a good boy and stop crying," I told Rishabh, who nodded and looked down. Just then, one nurse came out. Myra ran to her and asked, "My dad, is he fine?" "We can't say anything now, just pray for him. He lost a high amount of blood," the nurse said. "What the hell, huh? It's been more than 2 hours. You are all in the operation theatre and now you are saying that you will pray for him. Huh? What about the treatment? What the hell are you doing inside huh? Are you all partying? Listen Miss, if something happens to my dad, then the consequences will be worse, " Myra shouted angrily." "It's wrong, you can't misbehave like this," the nurse said. "Just f**k off and treat him," she said, angrily glaring at the nurse. "Myra control everything will be fine," Mom said, patting her shoulder. "I am so sorry for her behavior; she is very worried about her parents," my father apologised to the nurse. She nodded and left. Myra stood up and walked away silently. Now where is she going? I followed her and found her walking out of the hospital.. She sat silently on the bench, palming her face. I stood behind her and heard her sobbing. With my shivering hands, I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Myra?" I called her. She turned towards me and wiped her tears. "Zain, please go. I am not in the mood to fight right now." Like seriously, she thinks I am here to fight! My mind and heart kept reminding me. I took a deep breath and sat beside her.. OK, it's awkward btw!! "Listen, myra I am not here to fight, and your.. parents... wo..hh thik hojay..enge, (They will be fine) " I said as softly as I could I don't want to sound rude right now. She gaped at my face. I know she wasn't expecting this from me. She nodded and looked down. "They were fine in the morning. We had breakfast together and then..." she cried more. I held her hand and squeezed it gently, "They will be fine Myra stopped crying. You are a strong girl." She looked at me with her teary eyes. "These tears aren't looking good on you, so now stop crying." I wiped her tears. "Come on, let's go inside," I said, and stood up, extending my hand. She looked at my hand, then a t me. I nodded and she placed her hand on mine and stood up, and we went inside, entwining our fingers.
