Chapter 27

"Wallace?" I asked, repeating the name he had said.  Alpha Xander growled, obviously repulsed, "No" He shook his head at me, "Don't even utter his name. Something so sick shouldn't be coming out from something pure" He growled again, his eyes shot to mine again.  After a very long time, my wolf mewled inside of me. She didn't want us to upset our mate. She wanted to comfort him.  If only it is that easy.  I wanted to know what happened to this pack more than ever now. I don't think so I would be able to sleep in peace without knowing it. "What happened?" I asked him softly, keeping my tone as light as a feather, "What did he do?" I probed, waiting patiently for him to say something.  My mate looked like he was having a hard time restraining his wolf to not shift right then and there.
