"You don't have to walk if you're tired, Mia," I said as I watched her take a break to catch her breath. She seemed really exhausted from all the walking she had done today but adamant about walking by herself when I told her I could carry her.
Maybe I should have brought her here in a car.
"I am fine," She said, sounding breathless. "I just had to catch my breath. That's it. "
