I tossed and turned on Nolan's bed, waiting for my wandering thoughts to come to a halt, but it never did. For some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about Adam and Maya. Ever since I heard Emma mention the witches, I realized that I had never even tried to locate them in the last four years. I glanced at the wall clock and let out a sigh, pulling myself into a sitting position. It has been two hours since I started trying to get some sleep. Maybe a warm glass of milk might help.
